Summary: Not compatible with other HP All-in-ones.
Review: This may be a great printer, but if you have another HP All-in One installed, it requires that you uninstall the other printer or, if you call tech assistance, they can tell you how to set it up so that you can use one as a printer only. I bought one, drove to a job assignment 150 miles from a retailer, prepared to set it up, and found out that it was not compatible with my HP PSC-750. One or the other had to be uninstalled. Also requires a different ink cartridge than most other HPs, also a negative. I use one printer in my truck and one in the office, and need to have both installed on my laptop. Guess I would need to buy a different brand of printer/copier for the truck to use this. Too bad, I would have loved the print speed...

Summary: Lots of Problems
Review: This printer doesn't print consistently with my Windows XP laptop. It fails to print on most documents because of connection problems with the laptop. I am using it with a new Compaq 2800T running Windows XP Professional. All of the software is standard and updated. HP support has been very poor with suggestions like plug the printer directly into the wall. When it prints, the printer is noisy, uses a lot of ink, and has only average print quality. It also seems to be constructed of cheap parts.

Summary: Works Fine for Me
Review: Well, I just got the printer today. My first multi-function print. It replaced my old Canon BJC3000. I had a minor problem with the lower feed tray not being detected. Took about a minute to fix. Then, after the print head alignment, I put it through the works. Scan, copy (1 and 2 sided), printing (1 and 2 sided), and faxing.
Results?
Everything went without a hitch. I highly recommend this printer for general home office use.
As for the negative reviews, check this printer out for yourself. You can go to almost any computer/office/electronics store and ask them to give a demonstration of it's capabilities.
