Summary: Watch out! This is not D1250UF, it matters
Review: This model is on sale and I almost bought it. However, after I did some research and I decided to give up. The reasons are:It is no D1250UF, which provide a USB 2.0 PCI card and an adapter unit for scanning transparencies. I know many new computer has USB 2.0 built in already, but my computer doesn't have it. You can check and see how much D1250UF worth within ..., and you can find how much more expensive it is. Those items do worth a lot. D1250U2 is supposed to be a model outside U.S. market, I don't know why it is now sell in America. (I doubt it is a good cause) After all, the model is not that bad, consider it is only $$$ dollars now(on sale); but I can't stand the fact that it will cost me 20% more for shipping if I buy it.

Review: this scanner is a great deal for the money. i mean u get 1200x2400 resolution, usb 2.0 speed, and canon reliablility. all this for a very [good]price. plus the scans that i have taken are unbelievable.

Review: This scanner is more than enough for the money it costs. It works fine with XP and has a good picture quality scanning documents or photos.

Review: This scanner works very good. Easy installation, I had it up and running in no time. I didn't have any problems installing it on my XP or Windows 98.( I have both OS's on my computer). Much better than my old Visioneer 3100b. And more user friendly too.
