Summary: Great Value, But A Little Tricky to Use at First
Review: For the price, you get a reliable machine that produces high quality scans.

Maybe it's that I was used to another brand scanner and scanning software, so this software was a little tricky for me at first, but I'm a little less than thrilled with the scanning software package that comes with the 7100. I'd like to use VueScan, but it's not compatible with Visioneer scanners.

It seems that once I delve into the details in the manual, I may be able to control more of the scanning process from that aspect in order to do less clean up work in Photoshop.

Summary: Not impressed at all
Review: This is my second Visioneer scanner and although I liked the first one (replaced because the glass broke), this one has been a hassle. ALL of my pictures scan in with a red tint to them. I have been to their web site with no answers to help me and I refuse to call tech support since they charge $2.00 a minute. I've come across a similar complaint on the web with no solution. This is not a scanner I would recommend.
