Summary: !
Review: Overall this is a really good deal for what you get. The quality is very good for what you have to pay. The printing and copying are very good and fast. The scanning kind of [is bad]mainly because of the software, it's just not that user friendly. Other than that I am very happy with my purchase. HP is by far a much better brand to go with over Canon ([bad] ink tanks), Epson (kind of like a [local store]), and Lexmark (poor customer service and all around bad quality).

Summary: Newlywed Computer Enthusiast
Review: I recently purchased this item, although not from Amazon. And I can't say enough good things about it.

My old printer was an HP 710C Deskjet. While it was good, it annoyed me with spitting out a plain piece of paper after every printing session. I called/e-mail HP about this and they had no clue how to fix it. So I just lived with it's quirks until I saw this at Office Depot.

With having recently getting married, the need to scan in all of our wedding photographs became apparent. And having to go to the library to do this was tedious and expensive (for those of us who live in a rural location and don't have free access to the library).

This unit takes up much less space than my old Deskjet, is quieter, same or better print quality, and faster at printing. I would highly recommend this to anyone with limited desk-space and a limited capacity wallet. You get 3 in 1 for the price of most low quality printers.

Summary: Scanner bites - don't get this if you want to scan.
Review: The printer is excellent. (for the price) The copier does an excellent job.

The Scanner is the worst that I have seen in 11 years. My ... elcheapo Canon scanner is five times as good as this one.

The scanner is unusable. There are horrible spots and extra artificial patterns generated by the driver, or the scanner - I don't know which it is. An increase in resolution makes the scan worse instead of better.

I don't understand how the copy function works so well and the scanner function works so poorly.

Even though I got mine for [a little money] it was too much.

Summary: Why did they disable printer sharing ?
Review: The features looked attractive but when I set up my HP PSC1210 I was in for a big surprise. This is only printer that I know that cannot be shared over a network. It will only print with the computer that's attached to it. So if you plan to use it with 2 or 3 computers in your home network forget it. Now that the cartridges have been opened I can't return it!

The driver only offers these options: draft/normal/best, portrait/landscape, paper type and size.
The absence of a greyscale and multipage options means it will use up a lot more colored ink than you would normally expect.

Maybe all these problems are related to the fact that we can't use the 870c series drivers because that would allow saving a lot of ink. All other PSC's can be used by a windows 98 computer using a 870c driver through the network.

So this printer is crippled in a few ways. Maybe it's the successor to HP's Appolo printer line.

Summary: It's an office assistant machine !
Review: I like it very much. Uses for light printing and some copying. Now I have a COPIER with me in my room. No more trips to OfficeMAX, save time and gas. My 3 year-old daughter has fun with it too. She searchs for old photo in our albums, puts in the printer and copies them. The results are beautiful.

PROS:
-Look nice, small size
-All print, copy, and scan in a tiny machine.
-Quite, Quick.
-Copy without the computer.

CONS:
-The ink set shipped with the printer did not work.
They shipped me another set.

Summary: good value
Review: Good value for the money- you get a scanner, copier and printer for the same price you would pay for other printers (which are also bulkier than this machine!) As a college student on a budget, this is great because I can make copies and scan in things if needed without going all the way to the library. Photo prints were good quality and weren't that slow. B&W text printed fast and sharp. i recommend this for those on a budget and needs something that is small--a great machine.

Summary: fine printer
Review: I bought this product a few weeks ago, and so far have had no problems. I am a grad student, and will be using the printer primarily for b&w printing. Another reviewer mentioned that the device is slow to print, but I have not found that to be the case. Obviously, printing in color or at the highest quality will slow down any printer; in economy mode, it's quite speedy. I have not used the scanner at all yet, but for the price, I figured it would be nice to have it there if I ever needed it. I mainly bought it for the printer and the copier. I do like that you can copy without turning on your computer, and the b&w copies seem to be just fine. I have not tried to make a color copy yet. If you need a basic printer/copier, this one does just fine, and it's a great price, plus very compact.

Summary: Amazing little product
Review: I've used laser jet printers, ultra high quality photo printers, and very high quality scanners -- for a small price and a small footprint, this is an amazing little box. It does all three functions VERY WELL. Maybe not as well as a $500 printer or a $500 scanner, but VERY WELL. The ability to make a color or b&w photocopy without turning on a PC is neat just by itself! The included software, with the ability to write a pdf file, is very functional. I highly recommend it as a single unit solution -- in fact, I've unplugged both my high quality scanner and the photo quality printer (I'll keep them available for that special project...but this single box is now the workhorse!).

Summary: Underachieving
Review: This printer isnt worth the money as it can often get damaged during shipping. I recomend its bigger brothers from HP as my 2110 performs wonderfully.

Summary: HP PSC 1210V all in one
Review: ...
PROS:
- affordable!
- easy to use- side labeled buttons
- quality, I'm no expert, but I'd say its pretty good for the price (:

CONS:
The only thing I hate about this is the constant paper jam every time I use it. I tried printing out a picture on glossy paper, but it keeps getting jammed! I went to the hp website for support, didn't help much. Anyone got any tips??

Overall I give this all in one an A-
