Summary: Could Never Get It to Work On Windows ME Properly
Review: I have Windows ME and this printer absolutely gave me headaches. I couldn't print. The drivers hung my computer. I finally decided to return it. When HP says it supports ME, they should make sure that is the case.

Summary: Very pleased
Review: I am a college student and the Canon bubble jet printer I get back in 1998 finally died. I decided not to spend the $50 to repair it and went looking for a printer. I was also having scanner problems, so I've been looking for a scanner, too.

This printer/scanner/copier is great and easy to use. Installation and set up took about 25 minutes. About 10 minutes after that, I was scanning in photos.

If you want to do anything special with your pictures, you are going to need a separate program. My computer came with one, but if you want something like Photoshop, you're going to have to buy it.

Also, get a USB cable. Mine didn't come with one and you'll need it to connect it to the computer.

The printer and scanner are both noisy, but only when in use. It's not a big deal, but it can be annoying if you're trying to read or something. But, it really isn't a big deal.

All in all, I'm very pleased with this printer/scanner.

Summary: Great value for 3 in 1
Review: I've had this for 3 months. The small size is excellent for a small space -- a requirement in my situation. All the features work just as described. I set it up with my Dell PC within minutes and have used all the features. Occasionally, the paper feed would jam -- 'fan' the paper before putting it in the feed, and there are no problems. The HP software is nice when scanning and loading pictures or documents to my hard drive. It's a great value for the price and features.

Summary: Satisfied
Review: This is a great buy for the money. You won't find a combo printer/scanner/copier like this anywhere else. As a student, I needed a decent printer for churning out research papers. Asa web designer, I wanted a good scanner. As an amatuer photographer, i wanted a good photo peinter. In this, I got all three.

The printing jobs a solid, fast, and clean. Even printing off the web is surpringly fast. A thirty or forty page paper pops out in minutes. The only complaint I have--and considering it is the only thing keeping this printer from getting fivestars, so it is a small complaint, is how often the paperjams. It's only a minor deal to reach in a pull the offending page, but it does keep you chaine tothe printer during bigger print jobs.

The scanning of photos is easily done and the results or just as good as a srand alone scanner. Bear in mind that a decent standalone scanner would probaly cost as much as this combo printer. You begin to see the value of this machine. The editing software allows you to easily edit your scansto suit your needs.

Finally, the photo printing isexcellent. I have no qualms about placing printed photos in albums alongside professionally developed photos. One caveat, it is best to use HP paper with it. That's a small price to pay, however.

I am very happy with my purchase. You wil be, too.

Summary: HP all-in-one Printer 2110
Review: I love this printer, it does it all. I have had it two years and no problem, durable, reliable and easy to use. Usually the day you buy a computer product it is outdated, but so far this printer has keep up with the new models. I also think it prints better graphics then the new digital photo printers. The new model has a view window, that's a plus.

Summary: Great printer for less $$$
Review: I bought this printer a week ago from Fry's. I read most of
the reviews posted here and feel that i should contribute
to the discussion. I feel this is a great bargain for $90.

Installation on my Windows XP box was easy.

Pros
----
Good quality printing.
Cheap cartridge ( $30 for color, $24 for b/w)
Fast print/copy output in draft mode.
Good copier

Cons
----
Installs 400MB of software
Very noisy and shaky at the time of printing
No power saving mode
Scanning is slow

Generates 300MB files for 8x10 photos at 1200 dpi

In summary....if you intend to use this at home for occasional printing/copying this is a great printer. It has sufficient
quality for most print/copy jobs.

If you scan/copy a lot, I would reccommend a higher end model.

Summary: what a deal
Review: This is great - very convenient to copy, and the software is very good for managing and printing picutures, it even orients your pictures for you so you get maximum prints per page. Scanning is indeed a bit weak but hey, what do you expect for the price? Oh, it prints fast, too.

Summary: Don't waste your $$$
Review: This is the LOUDEST printer I've ever used! I was totally disappointed in it after the great luck I've had with HP printers in the past. I don't like the fact that I can't print in B&W. As far as scanning goes, the quality is really bad. I get streaks in all my pictures. I spend a lot of time in Photoshop correcting levels and streaks as well as something that appears to be dust, underneath the glass, that shows up in every scan. In my opinion, your best bet is to buy a printer and buy a scanner. I know the whole all-in-one thing is convenient, but in this case, I feel as if I definitely sacrificed quality for convenience. I plan to purchase a Canon scanner tomorrow to replace this one. I will be pulling my old HP printer out of the closet. This is one piece of office equipment that I regret purchasing; but, hey, don't we all have at least one of those?

Summary: Value for the money
Review: I got my HP1210 as an early Christmas gift. The scanner feature is great. I was able to scan my sister's graduation pictures in seconds. I also tried picture printing using plain paper and generic photopaper. The plain paper picture was great. Colors were vivid. However, printing using non-HP photopaper could be better. Some of the pictures that I printed had lines in them, and there was a squeeking sound while it printed. Putting in the ink cartridge was a little hard for my large hands.

Overall, still a great value for the money. It sure helps me with my space situation. I can now scan, print and copy in just a small space.

Summary: Loud, Clunky & Average to Poor Quality Photos
Review: I needed a new printer because my old HP was jamming every time and after your printer is 3 months old, HP won't give any technical help... As many folks know, photo paper is expensive so this is an expensive problem to have. Stupid me bought a new HP printer... This one makes a huge racket every time it prints. It sounds like it's chewing up your paper, but it hasn't yet. (3 days old) I printed some pictures and thought the results were kind of bad, so I printed the same photo file on the same brand of paper on my old printer. It looked 10x better. I thought I'd just go back to praying in front of the old printer not to eat my pictures, but alas it already has... Needless to say I am minus $100 and w/o printer for Xmas... I finally learned .... NO MORE HP PRODUCTS!!!
