Review: I grew up in a Chicago neighborhood where "giant" radios could still be found in people's living rooms. This is a loving replica of the originals, right down to the wonderful resonance the wood cabinet gives the speakers.

The modern electronics are all you could ask for, and the sound is delightful.

When I first bought it, I set the dial to the local Jazz station.
The first tape I played was a collection of "The Shadow" radio plays. The first CD, a collection of Churchill's WW2 speeches.
