Rating: Summary: No Good Review: All of the negative comments are true! Clock runs fast, nature sounds are bad, and display is unreadable!
Rating: Summary: Do not buy this lemon! Review: First of all, the nature sounds are awful! They repeat much too quickly so you'll be hearing the pattern in a minute or so. And the CD player has been touchy since the beginning. Now it doesn't work at all!! I contacted Timex...the only way to get it fixed it to mail to them with a check for $30. Forget it. Find a better one. Stay away from Timex.
Rating: Summary: Not as bad as everyone says..... Review: The other 4 reviewers must be those same people that still haven't figured out how to program their VCR. My only complaint is that the Indiglo display is difficult to read when the dimmer is turned down at night. It has a decent sound from the radio and my family actually likes the Nature Sounds (when turned down low). I wouldn't pay $149 for it but at < $70 it's a good buy.
Rating: Summary: Horrible Review: This is a cheesy clock. While I like nature sounds to sleep to, this clock has a loop that is so short it drives you nuts as you listen to the same cricket or frog hiccup endlessly. Random sounds, guys, random. This is just plain awful. And it looks chintzy, too. Skip this one.
Rating: Summary: Delivers everything adverstived - but poorly Review: This product does everything it says it does and does it as poorly as possible. The audio output is of such low quality that the soothing white noise is mostly grating. The white noise samples are also too short so the loops are annoying. The CD player makes audible motor noises. The clock runs fast. The Indiglo does glow, but the LCD has such low contrast it is still not readable at night. Even the time adjustment settings are poor, not allowing for bidirection adjustments. Combined with the fast clock that means once a month I have to cycle through all the minutes in an hour just to set the clock right.Overall this is a disappointing product. Spend your money on something else.
Rating: Summary: Hate it, hate it, hate it Review: Where do I begin. The cd lid opens by itself. The so called soothing sounds are annoying at best. To many buttons you have to get the manual out just to set the thing, then you still aren't sure you did it right. Poor sound quality, overpriced. Spend your money on something better.
