Review: I also encountered intermittent problmes with the cd-r recognizing a blank cd-r. First it would work for a few cycles then it would stop working entirely. You have to unplug it and leave it alone until the memory is cleared entirely and then when you use it again it might work if it feels like it. Very disapointed. I expected way better.

Review: I have had problems with this machine. It worked fine initially, but while still under warranty (I'd owned it for a few months, maybe), it suddenly stopped recognizing any blank CD I put in it. I sent it in for repairs, and of course, it worked fine for the technician. He couldn't find any problems. He shipped it back to me, and when I tried it again, the second CD well wouldn't open. It still doesn't. So, the machine won't duplicate anymore. I bought a 2-well CD burner specifically for this function! For the amount of money I paid, I had intended to get a high-quality and trouble-free machine. I hope you fare better.
