Rating: Summary: Great but... Review: This CD player is one of the best I've used in regards to features, ease of use and functionality. However... After about one year of use (after the manufacturers warrantee expired) it began displaying problems in the beginning of every disc, skipping on the first track at least once - sometimes indefinably. Also, after prolonged use it tended to cut out - probably due to excess heat. I am confident that the error is not due to mishandling as I take good care of my electronics and the music I enjoy on them. Great job Pioneer but a bit problematic.
Rating: Summary: Performed great for 3 years, now only plays 1st cd Review: This cd player worked great for 3 years. It was very inexpensive at the time that I bought it. In fact when I bought it, the 6 disc player was more expensive (which was why I bought the 25). It worked perfectly for 3 years, and suddenly it gets "stuck" on the first CD. It plays the entire CD, but when I try to switch to any other CD, it makes a loud noise, and doesn't do anything. I can play the entire first CD, but that's it. It's quite dissappointing, and I hoping to get it fixed. I wasn't planning on buying a new one already.
Rating: Summary: What a deal Review: This is a real good player at a great price. Good job
Rating: Summary: Teriible Quality CD Player Review: This player is absolutely terrible. A few months before my warranty expired it stopped working. It would just get stuck. I get it fixed at an authorized service center and about 6 months later it doesn't go past disc number 8. Obviously by the reviews it seems that this is a lemon. [...] Bottom line, stay away from this product. Don't waste your money. I will be buying no more pioneer products in the future.
Rating: Summary: Well worth the money. Review: Well, I just read the other reviews and I can agree with some things, but not others. For example, I've had mine running for hours at a time and haven't had the slightest problem. Maybe that's just his. I think the sound is great and so are the features. The only problem I've had is that if there is even the slightest scratch on a disc, it sometimes has a hard time reading it. On the other hand, a disc can have a big scratch on it and it reads it just fine. Go figure. Anyway, now that the price has gone down on these cd-jukeboxes, I'll probably get Pioneer's 101 disc player to replace my 25, seeing as it's <...> less than the price I originally paid for the 25 a few years ago. In conclusion, this is a good player with a good price and I'm sure the amount of "lemons" are few.
Rating: Summary: Look at Something Else Review: You can't change cd's while playing one. After about a year mine started having mechanical problems.
