Summary: Durable very user friendly camera!
Review: I purchased this camera prior to taking a two-week European trip and have been impressed with all of it's capabilities. I got the camera just a few days before leaving (mostly because I put off ordering...) and it only took me about 30 minutes to familiarize myself with most all of the features and begin taking photographs.

I dragged this camera through all of the castles on the English seaside without so much as a hiccup. It survived the bumps and bruises of scrambbling up narrow stairways and took great photos even in the damp, foggy climate of some of the English towns. I even took some spectacular photos of the Eiffel Tower with the panoramic format - they rival any postcards I saw in the gift shop!

The only warning I will offer is that APS film can be slightly more expensive, but I find the multiple formats well worth the extra money for the film.

I would highly recommend this camera for anyone looking for a good, reliable, durable, easy to use camera.

Summary: My Kodak Advantix C800
Review: I received this digital camera for Christmas and I am thoroughly impressed with the performance it has shown me in the last week. As I use this product I will be able to update my review. The ease and convenience is what I needed and once again Kodak has come through for me. The mid-roll change is an excellent idea and it does work beautifully.

Summary: C800 Camera
Review: I recently bought this camera and have been really impressed by all the features it has. I really like the midroll film change and the titles that you can stamp on back of the finished photographs. This is definitely a must have camera!

Summary: Nice and Handy for Quick Pixs!
Review: The C800 is nice and light and fits in your pocket nicely. I really enjoy this aspect of the camera. I enjoy the feature of programming how many prints I want of a certain picture. I just program the camera before I shoot and I can preorder 5 of a group shot if I need that many. I have a large family and I am tired of getting doubles of every picture. This feature seems to save me money. We just returned from a trip out west and the colors seem rich and nice. The viewfinder eyepiece has a focus for individual adjustments which comes in handy when you have two people using the same camera. One thing I don't enjoy as another reviewer mentioned, is that the default setting(and you can NOT change it) is the "H" setting which produces 4x7 pictures, which will not fit in the standard photo albums. I had to purchase a photo album just for this size and the albums out there that hold the 4x7's are limited. I think of the last roll I took, I remembered to set it to the Classic 4x6 size twice.
I downsized from a 35mm and it is a bit of an adjustment, but it is of no fault of this camera. Overall I would recommend this camera, but would suggest to Kodak to change the default to the C setting.

Summary: Also had premature rewind trouble
Review: The photos are beautiful and the camera is easy to use, but like a previous poster, I also had rewind trouble, starting with the second roll of film ever put in this camera! I bought this camera specifically for a European vacation and 5 of 14 rolls prematurely rewinded in the middle of the roll (wasting quite a bit of film). But, if this happens to you, know that even though the symbols on the side of the film canister will indicate the roll has never been used, the photos WERE captured, so don't reuse this roll! Still bring the film to your developer and explain to them that photos ARE on the roll, and the symbol on side of the film canister is wrong. I called Kodak when I returned from my trip... the first rep wasn't very helpful, telling me I must have the camera serviced even though it was only 6 weeks old! I finally got a 'consumer advocate' who was extremely helpful! I had a new camera and lots of free film within days (they are aware of this camera's problem). I actually have the C850, but from what I can see, the C800 and the C850 are the same camera... the user's manual cover page has both style numbers on it.

Summary: Rich C
Review: This is a great camera. It is my second APS camera. I've had this one for almost 2 years. My first one was a Kodak Advantix 3700ix. I used it a lot and had fantastic results. It is now my spare. The C800 is very sophisticated with top of the line features. For me, the 3x zoom was the big attraction. Film load / unload is a snap. I expect 25 good results per roll. If I lost it, I would buy another C800.
