Rating: Summary: Easy, Fun & Waterproof! Works great after FOUR YEARS! Review: This is a simple point and shoot auto-focus model which fits nicely into small bags/purses or a coat pocket. Traveling should be fun in any weather and being able to capture memories should be too. Cameras shouldn't shrink with just a few raindrops like the Wicked Witch of the West. The Canon Elph Sport holds up to everything I've been through the past four years: quicksand, ocean waves, swimming pools, road trips, baby drool, hurricanes, blizzards, and much more. The colors come through vividly. Now with black and white Advantix film being available, I can take more classic photos as well. This summer, I tried surfing and the only success was the great photos. The carrying case is great - In it, the camera floats in the ocean. I recommend this camera for anyone who does not want to worry about their camera getting wet on family vacations (think beach trips or theme park rides here) or during frequent outdoor adventures. TECHNICAL NOTES: It does not have a zoom option, but it includes a self-timer feature. It doesn't use up batteries quickly. I've replaced it maybe twice in four years.
Rating: Summary: Great Deal Review: This is great for surf shots and i loved it out of water
Rating: Summary: Say cheese to this winner! Review: This thing is wild! I have had this camera for the last two months, and cannot put it down! Living in Cleveland Ohio, I was allway's afraid of our violent weather situations to take the camera with me. This camera now follow's me wherever I may go! Fishing, Sled riding, or to the beach. Picture quality is allmost as good as my Nikon 35mm! Buy it you will love it! Jessica Ballas
Rating: Summary: Great Deal Review: Well let's see - i've taken this camera from as different environments as you can get. In the warm waters of Hawaii and Thai (hot hot and humid humid humid) to Imja Tse Peak Summit (20,300 ft) in Nepal (freezing cold and dry as a bone). This camera has taken great pictures although underwater it requires some bright bright sun as the flash isn't enough for low light levels underwater. have no complaints about this camera and i've been very rough with it. dropped many times on stone and sand by my butter fingers. definitely would recommend this camera to anyone - especially to those who lead an active lifestyle and want to have a tough camera to take on these activities. have read about the seal problems but have not experienced these problems myself but will definitely be careful to make sure the seals are clean from now on. also everyone always seems curious about the camera and seem to think it's very "cute". anyway, this camera has my complete recommendation and am getting another one for back-up after i've dropped my current one that one too many times. =)

Rating: Summary: Don't take elegance and make it clunky! Review: Well, I guess it does go underwater, which is a pretty neat feature. But you have to want to dive a lot to make it worth the extra money and the loss of elegance of the other Elphs. The greatest strength of the Elph line is the amazing portability it affords, and the design of this camera eliminates that. I think most people would be happier with either the Elph LT 260 or the Elph 2. You may want to check out the other Elph cameras before you buy this one.
