Summary: superb picture quality in a small enough package
Review: I took the olympus stylus zoom on my backpacktravels thru africa, australia etc etc. Hence it took a lot of bumping and hassling. It even rolled down more than 300 yards of a sand (!) dune in Namibia. And it still didnt suffer. Still the same super quality of pictures. I took good nature shots, the zoom even allowed for some good wildlife ones. And with that superb picture quality its not as big as a mirrorreflex. No big clumpsy camerabags to handle. Excellent.

Highly recommended.

Summary: Its perfect for traveling
Review: I travel a lot to places where i want to take pictures and its perfect for it!! when i was in darkly lite churches the pitcures came out perfectly, not bluryness and i could actually see!! the zoom is great, and it allows me to take pictures of everything. i wish it had panaramic but other than that its a great camera and so lightweight, i recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Poor Quality
Review: I wanted a small but good camera as I was sick and tired of carrying around my Nikon SLR. I was recommended the olympus 115 by very seasoned travellers. When I got it I didn't expect it to be as good as an SLR, but on my last vacation I took both, got both the films developed at the same time and the quality was the great for both,so much so I couldn't tell which camera took what. Highly recommend it. Another good thing is that you DON'T have to have the date imprint on the photo's (which I think looks tacky). The only problem in my country is getting your hands on one. Most customers in the compact camera market are after a good olympus, and this model always sell out first.

Summary: Pocket Full of Photos
Review: Ten years ago my Dad purchased an Olympus All Weather camera for me for my birthday when I was still in college. Prior to that time I had been using a Kodak 110 to capture all of my fishing and backing images. Let's just say it did not fair well with the rain, snow, dirt and pine needles that came it's way. Enter the Olympus...

Having survived almost every imaginable torture my original camera final met its maker when it fell from a cliff in the Cascades. I knew what I had to do; replace it with a Stylus.

As with the original Olympus I used for years, the 115 QD has demonstrated that it can take fantastic pictures in questionable circumstances. Although the camera is very small relative to my large hands, I find it easily manipulated and steadied. It takes near flawless photos. Unlike it's grandparents, the 115 can comfortably fit in one's front pocket and takes virtually no space on camping and fishing trips.

I figure I'll have this camera until it takes a leap of faith, as did my previous camera. Olympus is shooting 100% in my book.

Summary: Olympus Cameras are the best
Review: The most important thing about a good camera is the lens. Olympus use glass lenses rather than the cheaper plastic lenses. This means that you can't beat an Olmpus for picture clarity!

Summary: Great Pictures
Review: The Olympus is a great camera. It has been on many trips with me and not failed me yet. The camera has experienced some mild damage (broken lens cover, crack in viewfinder), and still takes wonderful photos. The clarity and color are wonderful. The available remote control (recommended) allows the person behind the camera to be in the picture!

Summary: Little Wonder!
Review: The Olympus Stylus Zoom 115 QD is wonderful. After deciding I didn't want to take all my SLR equipment on my cruise I bought this camera only one day before leaving. The first roll of film I had developed on the ship to see if I was using the camera correctly. All 24 pictures turned out beautifully, at night, in the rain, inside, and outside. I ended up taking 10 rolls of film on vacation and this camera gave me the freedom I never had with my SLR. The camera has nice styling and is small enough to fit almost anywhere (even in my formal evening purse). Since coming back from vacation I have taken many rolls of film and I am still as impressed. Try it! I don't think that you will be disappointed.

Summary: Poor Quality
Review: The pictures are washed out, the focus offcenter, and the zoom mechanism is very sensitive to breakage. My camera has been seent back to Olympus twice for warranty repair and both times come back just as bad. The whole point of a point and shoot is to get good pictures without too much work. This camera badly misses the mark.
