Rating: Summary: What more does the average person need? Review: This camera is worth the money. It's compact, easy to handle, simple to use and has the features that the average person would want. Best of all... it takes great pictures. I took this camera on a recent trip and the pictures look like they could be postcards. I doubt that anyone would regret owning this great little picture taker.
Rating: Summary: Best camera ever! Review: This camera takes crystal clear shots. I have never used a camera so clear. For the money, you can not get a better camera.
Rating: Summary: Great outdoor shots, indoor flash photos not great Review: This camera takes great outdoor photos. All those pictures have been beautiful. I am disappointed with my indoor flash photos. Some come out great, others are too bright, some too dark. The pictures of my white and black cat are glaringly bright. I had a Ricoh for 10 yrs, & every flash photo was perfect. I ordered the Canon mostly because I wanted a smaller, lighter camera. I am kind of sorry I sold my old one.
Rating: Summary: The on button is hard to work Review: This camera takes pretty good pictures and is pretty much idiot proof, but I have a problem with the on/off switch. I don't know if others have experienced it, but it's really hard to turn. Once you get a hang of it, it's great. Film is really easy to load. I had an advantix before that so I was worried that I wouldn't know how to load it, but it's very easy.
Rating: Summary: Great pictures - a little heavy Review: This camera takes very clear, automatically focused pictures. You don't need a lot of picture-taking experience to get good results. My only criticism is the bulk. I used to have an Olympus, and found it to be much sleeker and smaller. However, this Canon seems to be more durable so far.
Rating: Summary: this is a great lil' camera Review: this camera takes wonderful photos. if you're in the market for a cheap camera that's pretty straightfoward, in the point-n-click variety, then get this one. it's brilliant!
Rating: Summary: good, but no date Review: This is a good camera in its class, and well-rated by CR. But despite the claim made in the current "editorial reviews" description, this model has no date imprint feature. If you want that, try the "sureshot 85 zoom/date".
Rating: Summary: Best camera [for it price] Review: This is a great camera for students living abroad who want great pictures without spending an exorbitant amount for a camera. I bought this camera in January based on the excellent reviews and wasn't disappointed. I spent five months touring Europe obviously taking many pictures. Everyone who has see them has wanted to know what kind of camera I have because the photos are just that good--most of them postcard quality. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was because sometimes the resolution wasn't quite as good as I would have liked. However, considering the extremely reasonable price, that is not a big deal. This camera is probably the best buy for the money!
Rating: Summary: this camera rocks! Review: this is my first real camera and it is awesome! i was a little skeptical at first because of the great price, but all of my dis-beliefs were erased when i used it adn got my pictures back! this camera is extremely easy to use and is great for beginners like myself. i love it!
Rating: Summary: Great little camera Review: This little camera has become a nice companion to my Canon SLRs. It is compact and solidly built. The pictures from this camera are well exposed and sharp. Of course, no matter how automated and simple a camera is, you need to understand some basics of photography to get acceptable results. If you read the manual and learn a few basic concepts, this little camera will serve you well
