Summary: Great camera!!!! If you have kids...this is for you!!!
Review: Finally I have found the camera for me! I have shopped around quite a bit, and have done alot of research! I have tried "Nikon"..."Minolta" and they do not even compare to this camera!

I have kids and taking pictures fast is a must for me! I have yet to miss a moment! The flash is ready to go quickly after a picture is taken,(so you can take 2 pics of your baby doing something cute!!)You do not have to keep someone smiling while the red eye reducer light is working, it is that fast!! The view finder is large, so you can find something moving around in the view finder quite easily! It is small and compact to keep in my purse.
I also use the Canon Rebel SLR...another great find!! But when you need a small point and shoot...this is the way to go!

TWO THUMBS UP!!!! Worth every penny I paid for!! Canon is a name to depend on!

Summary: simple and easy
Review: Great Camera for the price. It's simple and compact which makes it easy to point and shoot. I would have given it five stars but it came without battery. Overall very satisfied.

Summary: Almost everything we wanted.
Review: I bought this camera to take with me on vacation. I was looking for a small camera that would give me quality pictures without costing me a lot of money. I looked around quite a bit before making a purchase. I narrowed it down to two Canon cameras (the 130u and the z155). While I was looking for a powerful zoom, I decided the z155 may have been more power than I needed. With the 130u, I can fully extend the zoom and get sharp, bright pictures! I'm extremely happy with this camera and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Summary: When did point-and-shoot become so complicated?
Review: I can't complain too much about this camera. The pictures I've gotten out of it are adequate. The images are generally sharp.

The real issue is how difficult it is to simply take a picture. You press the button and wait (and wait) for autofocus, light measurement, redeye reduction, and flash. I've passed this camera around to several people, with the same result each time. No one's ever sure whether they've taken a picture. In the meantime, they keep mashing on the shutter button trying to get some kind of response out of the camera. I keep getting pictures of subjects with stale smiles and confused eyes.

Also beware that there is a "date/caption" model in addition to the standard model, with no difference in model number. If you want a date stamp, make sure you choose the correct camera. (The caption feature is silly and not worth your attention. Why anyone would want "Happy Birthday" in glowing orange calculator-style text on their 35 mm photos is beyond me.)

That being said, this is a fine camera and probably as good as any in the category. But I would give careful consideration to aiming elsewhere. More serious amateurs would be better off with an entry-level SLR camera, like the Rebel. Those who simply want convenient snapshots may be better off with a cheaper, focus-free camera.

Summary: Flash is off
Review: I recieved this camera as a gift and while it worked alright for outside pitcures, in many of the indoor pictures, the flash caused the lighting to be drastically uneven.

Summary: Great Compact Point & Shoot Zoom Camera
Review: If you're looking for a good quality but simple to use compact point and shoot camera, this is an excellent choice.

In addition to the ultra-compact design of the all metal body, it is fully automatic with a 3.4x zoom lens with auto focus. It also offers several different program flash settings in addition to red eye reduction for special needs.

It features a 38-130 mm zoom lens with auto focus and can do close-ups very well too. The viewfinder offers an adjustment for anyone requiring corrective lenses so that you can view your subject clearly without the need of glasses.

The body is ergonomically designed, well balanced and very compact to make it easy to carry or pack. I also like the all metal body construction. The power on/off button is design to be out of the way and recessed to avoid the camera being turned on/off accidentally, but still easy to turn the camera on/off when needed.

The automatic film loading, advancing and rewinding is nice. You can even rewind the film mid-roll if needed. It also has a 10 second self-timer.

The flash is electronically controlled and the camera also offers several different preset flash programs built-in for special situations.

So far we have used 200, 400 and 800 speed film (ISO) in a verity of situations (daylight, close-ups, night with flash and without, etc) and all the results have been excellent.

Again, this is an excellent compact point and shoot film camera.

Summary: Nice camera
Review: Nice camera, Nice features. Rating this camera low because it didn't come with a battery is nonsense. Takes good pictures.

Summary: Frank from Tucson, your a moron
Review: This camera has taken excellent pictures. I am not a professional photographer, so I did not purchase a camera that has features I do not know how to use. I point the camera at the target, I push the button, put the camera back in my pocket, and continue with my day. Upon getting the film developed, I have nothing but great things to say because the pictures are all in focus and the colors look right. I only wish that the lens could make my wifes thighs look thinner. So what if the camera did not come with a battery. Go buy one.

Summary: Almost everything we wanted.
Review: When we went shopping for a camera to replace our current one, this is the one that we came across. My brother even has the same camera and he loves it. We did research and found that it had everything that we needed until upon receiving the camera, we found that it doesn't have the date caption that we thought that it did. There are two different models of this camera, one says caption and one doesn't. We had seen the one with caption at many other stores and didn't realize that there was a model without a caption. It is a great camera, unless the date caption is an important feature for your family.
