Summary: Great pictures - but not rugged
Review: I had one of these cameras for about two years. I have been a 35mm SLR fan for nearly 30 years, but found my Canon's too heavey and bulky for some trips. Bought one of these 115's at Costco and really fell in love with it. It takes great pictures both indoors and out. My wife and I shot about 200 rolls of color print film and nearly every picture was sharp and clear.

In November, my daughter's ktten knock it off a shelf and it fell about 30" to a tile floor. Since then it hasn't worked.

All in all, even though it's not as rugged as I would like I will probably buy another if I find one at a good price.

Summary: Yes, this camera is not durable
Review: I have purchased this camera few months ago. I have only taken a few rolls of film. It broke on me!! It is like when it is turned on, the lens zoom back to the body and shutter the lens. When I turn it off, the lens will move to its ready position but no reading on the LCD display. It is like a reverse!! I am so disappointed this camera. I have bought a Olympus Stylst 80 zoom before this minolta and it broke just over a year! And now this camera lasted less than a year. My next camera will not be anything like ultra compact or light weight. They don't seem to last long at all.

Summary: This camera makes me mad!!!
Review: It was a wedding gift - the giver would be so embarrassed! It was only used once before it started shuttering the lens when turned on and then shutting itself down, opening the lens again. Repeated emails to the company go unanswered. Because it was a gift, I have no warranty information. I am SO disappointed.

Summary: broke after 1 year--just after warranty ended
Review: Most of the pictures were good. In certain lighting situations, the pictures weren't so hot. After one year and two weeks, the camera would not open. I would warn anyone not to purchase a product that breaks down this quickly. I only shot about 10 to 12 roles during that year. I am very disappointed.

Summary: Great Camera!
Review: We took one of these cameras to India recently and it performed fantastically in all sorts of light conditions - dark inside shots, bright external shots, and even some mixed lighting conditions. The prints have come out fantastically. The camera is light, performs zoom/unzoom quickly, and is a pleasure to use. A great deal, really!
