Summary: Extremely good camera for its class
Review: First of all about myself. I am not new to photography. I own professional SLR cameras prime lenses and do traditional "wet" black and white printing by myself. I am also in a process of graduating from New Your Institute of Photography corresponding school. So, I know a little about photography. Now, I decided to buy this camera just for fun. Of course, I didn't expect much. How could you? Camera has fixed aperture and fixed shutter speed. F/8. and 1/100 second. But it worked. I did take some indoor shots with available flash and even though resulting pictures couldn't compare to my prime Nikon lenses, they were compared to other point and shoot cameras with auto focus quite positively. It could be that people don't know how to use their more complicated auto focus cameras correctly but pictures from KB22 taken by me bit some of them (Olympic, Canon and some other P&S zoom cameras) in sharpness. I suspect that KB22 is a perfect camera for people who never used to photograph and don't really know how or where to focus, I mean the lens in this camera is prefocused permanently to infinity, so from 1.5meter to infinity your picture will be sharp. Just press shutter release slowly, don't jerk it and most of the time you will have decent 4 by 6 prints. And here is my advice in summer or sunny winter put 100 or 200 ISO film in camera, all other times have 400 ISO film. Amazing!!
