Summary: Quality Product
Review: After only one day of using the Imageview, it appears to be all it's advertised to be. Though the battery compartment is hard to open and close, the rest of the design is impressive. It only took a minute to get used to knowing all the functions.
It's unfortunate that the previous reviewer chose to return the Imageview, if you would have taken the time to learn and practice I think you would have enjoyed the product.

Summary: These digital binoculars are a nightmare!!!!
Review: DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM...you would do better just throwing you money out of the window. I was so excited to take some distance pics and tried to upload to my computer (XP) and then i got a message "device not found" even though I had loaded the software. Well, then I went to the bushnell site and went to the trouble shooters section where i found instructions on how to load the more updated drivers...well that didn't work either....i spent over 3 hours fooling around with this stupid set of binoculars...now, i am ready to throw "them" out the window.

Summary: Wow! What a loser!
Review: Either I got a defective camera/binocular or they're all horrible. Several of us tried using it to get a picture with any decent (even for email) resolution and were embarrassed by the horrible results. It's a nice little binocular but a horrid camera. Hopefully others fared better than I did.

Summary: The installation is the REAL problem.
Review: First off, anyone with Windows XP should NOT buy this product. The driver on the installation CD is not for XP users. You must go to Bushnell's site to download the most current driver. Once you follow the very detailed 'driver uninstallation' steps, then you can install the new driver. However, after following those steps, the new driver still does not allow PhotoSuite 4.0 SE (the version shipped with the binoculars) to access the camera.

I have spent hour upon hour on Roxio's site, and discussion board, to attempt to find the resolution for this. There appears to be none. Bushnell does not offer any technical support for the PhotoSuite software, and Roxio does not offer any technical support for the binoculars. It's a nasty Catch-22, and it's the reason I no longer own the binoculars.

They were great to use as simple binoculars, but as a digital camera, I have no idea how good they were. I never saw the images after I snapped them!

I would give this product ZERO STARS if I could.

Summary: Excellent Product
Review: I bought this Image View with some hesitation because of a couple fo negative reviews. I put it to the test and was Very pleaseantly surprised. It worked flawlessly on every picture of different distances. Ounce you learn to use, it is easy to do and it works well. At first Ithought it was not taking good pictures. You must hold steady when taking picutes, and apply preassure to the button. It is easy to handle and carry and cheaper than all of the competitors.

Summary: It works JUST FINE!!
Review: I decided to give a try to this product despite all the bad reviews I read about it. And I'm not sorry at all! This binocular works just fine! I'm an XP user and didn't experience any trouble at all when installing the driver nor when downloading the pictures I took. My hands are not steady at all either, in fact I thought "none of these pictures will come out right if i keep on shaking the camera like this", but surprisingly, they all did!! It's true that quality is far from excellent, but it's just what the product advertising says: 640x480 pixels. I highly recommend this product to anyone who's curious about it and is not expecting to use it professionally. You want it? Go for it!

Summary: All around great Binocular
Review: I feel that this is a great item that can be used for a variety of uses. Athletic events, concert, and nature viewing. With the zoom power you can take images of items you would not normally be able to, that is why it is a great feature to add to a Binocular. I have used mine to death and loved all of the images that I have down loaded.

Summary: Interesting Product
Review: I got it as a b'day gift. Its compact and very handy. Binoculars works great so does the digital camera, but unfortunately...you cannot take pictures of objects that are close to you...it has to be far enough so that you can focus moreover, its very difficult not to shake the camera while you click..probably will take a while before I can get used to it.

Summary: Wouldn't Work With Windows98
Review: I have a Dell computer with a 600 meg processor runnung Windows98 SE. After loading the Bushnell software, it tells me to insert my Windows98 SE disk for a needed driver but when I do this, it says that it cannot find the required file. I contacted Bushnell tech support and they took about a month to e-mail me with advise, which unfortunately did not work. I cannot comment on the quality of the photos, but can say that if you have WIndows98 SE, I recommend that you avoid this product.
