Summary: Very nice pics, OK as your first digital camera
Review: I think this is a very good camera at a very good price. You have to get a little used with setting the flash, exposure value and white balance manually so you can get really excellent pctures.

Some of the pros of the camera are: 3.3 megapixel resolution, manual controls like exposure and flash... and some of the cons: when you have it in your hands, it doesn't feel very solid it's like if you toss it, it will tear into pieces instead of just scratching, also the macro mode is pretty much useless because you can't get very close, you can't read the LCD outdoors when it's sunny (but it's OK, use the viewfinder), very low battery life (buy rechargables and you will notice a BIG difference).

Well, there are more cons than pros, bur anyways if you take care of it and learn how to squeeze the juice out of it you can have it for about a year or two and then buy a more professional camera

Summary: Superb value if you use rechargables
Review: I won't rehash what's already been said about this camera but add what I've just learned. I used it for a while with regular AA batteries which it ate with gusto! I purchased the ... Digital Camera Power Pack (4 1500 mA NiMH AA batteries and charger) from Radio Shack and gave it a new test. First I shot with the flash and LCD both OFF and filled the camera's 16 MB and the 128 MB CF card with no trouble. I then turned on the flash AND LCD and again was able to fill the camera and card to capacity using the same batteries without a recharge (80 pictures each time on full resolution). The batteries finally gave out after another 12 pictures with flash and LCD ON.
I can't recommend this camera highly enough as a first step into the digital realm as long as you use the rechargable NiMH batteries.

Summary: Great for the price
Review: I've read the reviews about battery consumption so I purchased eight 2200mAh NiMH batteries and charger/conditioner (about $55)and worked very well. I took over 100 pictures at highest resolution (half with flash), previewed, downloaded all, and formatted 128MB CompactFlash and the batteries were only half drained. I can put the other AA's to other uses.

As far as the camera goes, it takes great clear pictures and never blurry. No regrets.

Summary: Best camera in this price catagory! Couldn't be Happier!
Review: It's a great little camera with all kinds of functions. And the pictures it takes are clear and crisp, never blurry or fuzzy. It's 3.3 megapixels will not disappoint! It's easy to use, a very simple interface.

Pros: PRICE, picture quality, style of the camera itself, large LCD screen, red eye reduction flash works great, holds 96 pictures at once, expandable with flash cards

Cons: Loves to eat batteries (must have a charger), time and date reset each time batteries are changed, preferences also reset to factory default each time batteries are changed.

Summary: You won't find an AC adapter
Review: It's a wonderful camera for which no AC adapter is made. And you will need the power of an AC adapter to download pictures. SiPix technical support says I should ask the firm that sold me the camera where I can get a 3-3.3V 2A AC adapter. "We do not know of a specific brand or location on where to pick one up. We here at sipix do not make power adapters. If you can not locate a power adapter you may want to look into using a set of NI-MHs
rechargeable batterys. These are great for digital cameras and you will not have to worry about the fuss of cords or having your camera plugged into the wall."

Spend an extra hundred dollars and get a digital camera that is supported.

Summary: SIPIX 3.3 MEGAPIXEL
Review: Its a nice camera. But you have to buy an adaptor for it. I talked to tech support. You have to go to [the store] and buy a 3v 2 amp (2000ma),yes it has to be a 2 the 1000ma will not work the camera, adaptor for it. I was dissapointed when tech support told me that it only supported 128 meg compact flash, cauuse I already purchased a 256 compact flash. I tried the 256 for kicks anyway, and to my suprise it did work. No problems. I was also told by Sipix that they do not make the power adaptor, so like I said you will be spending about [money at the store] for the adaptor and the right connect, the best thing to do is to take your camera with you so they can get the right connector for it.

Summary: Excellent Camera!!!
Review: Just got my camera, had to purchase rechargeable batteries (no big deal) and I couldn't believe it - took 100 high resolution shots WITH flash!!! All I got to do now is to recharge batteries and take another 100 pics. Video is amazing, with my 128Mb card, I get to take over 11 minutes of video - no other camera of this type on the market can do that much. The purpose of the digital camera is to take pictures, brand name means squat. So, forget the $500 2 megapixel brand name 1cameras and get this one for [item price] with 3.3 megapixels - there are no regrets.

Summary: Where were these reviews when I bought this camera?
Review: Like everyone else here- I thought there was something wrong- but, no. Batteries last about 8 minutes or 5 shots. Ridiculous and annoying. You can't see the LCD when you're outside so you can't tell whether it's on or not. (Usually it's run out of juice.) That being said- it takes beautiful pictures. But I would not buy it again.
