Description:

The Toshiba PDR-M5 is a high-resolution 3x zoom digital camera. It has 16 MB internal temporary storage for your favorite still shots, plus an 8 MB SmartMedia card for easy transference to your PC. It boasts advanced photographic features including 1600 x 1200 resolution and ultrafast processing. The Toshiba PDR-M5 incorporates USB connectivity in addition to a serial output.

The camera has an ergonomic, stylish design with a backlit LCD control panel and easy-to-understand mode dial. The Toshiba PDR-M5 includes multiple recording modes beyond the single mode. It has a fast-burst mode which uses the camera's 16 MB of buffer memory to temporarily store photos. In fine mode, at the highest resolution, the camera can capture an amazing four frames per second. You can then observe the images on the LCD screen. A multi-image mode is possible, capturing 16 small images in one 1600 x 1200 frame. Finally, the PDR- M5 records movies in AVI format without sound. Playback can be done on the LCD screen or the file can be viewed with a program such as Apple's QuickTime.

The Toshiba PDR-M5 is fully compatible with both PC and Macintosh computers. Accessories include a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, AC power adapter, 8 MB SmartMedia card, hand strap, CD-ROM, serial cables, video cable, and USB cable. The included Image Expert software retrieves the camera settings for aperture and shutter speed for each photo so you are able to fully edit your images.
