Summary: Great little digital camera
Review: This is a nice small camera, not the smallest but a nice size. It only needs two batteries. What you need to do is get a battery charger and some NiMN batteries, and you won't need to buy batteries all the time.

Summary: Terrific camera, but beware of battery life
Review: This is an amazing camera (save for the battery life) for an amazing price. While it does not have optical zoom, the digital zoom is better than most digicams I have used -- including my own Canon S100 "digital elph." The picture quality is simply superb and seals Olympus's reputation for producing some of the finest-quality digital cameras in the world. The operations are all easy to learn, esp. if you have used an Olympus analog before.

The only gripe is battery life, which is ridiculously short on regular alkalines. (On the other hand, it's nice to have a digicam that takes AAs.) Be sure to get lithium rechargeable batteries for this camera. They are more expensive, but they provide much longer battery life (so you can take the camera out on a day trip without hauling 10 pairs of alkalines) and can be recharged.

Once you get the batteries straightened out, this is simply the best-value digital camera on the market. I bought one for my wife and one for her uncle. Both love the camera. Highly recommended.

Summary: Simply the Best for the Price
Review: This is an awesome digital camera. At two megapixels, you simply can't get better photos. Who needs like 5 megapixels anyways, unless you're like a spy or something. hahaha... The draw back of most digital cameras is the fact that it is easy to blur your photos, but, you learn to fix it quickly. Although there are better cameras (especially ones with optical zoom, instead of digital zoom which is worthless), you simply cannot beat it at its price.

Summary: Olympus is King
Review: This is my first digital camera. I have been waiting for a great deal on a 2+ MP camera. Amazon had it. The camera is great. I take it everywhere and have started to publish pictures on my web site.

The only drawback seems to be the battery life. I went to Radio Shack and invested in 4 rechargables. This has done the trick.

For [money], you can not do wrong. Upgrade the 128 card and you are set.

Summary: Great Little Camera
Review: This little camera is so user friendly. I highly recommend it to anyone who knows nothing about a digital camera and would like to learn how to use one. The only problem I had was useing regular batteries. I would strongly recommend purchasing the rechargable batteries and charger at the same time the camera is purchased.

Summary: Great Camera
Review: This was the best camera I have ever used. In fact i gave it to my family for presents for Birhtdays! The only problem was that I couldn't take any more pictures once the film ran out of exposures. Any ways it is a good buy and I would reccommend it to anybody who loves to capture images.

Summary: Whats not to like about this camera ?
Review: To anyone who say this is a piece of junk, obviously they haven't taken the short amount of time it takes to learn about it and its features. The 230 takes great pictures and with the addition of a couple of 1800 mah powerex batteries you can take pictures all day long. In the past several months I have had this camera, my experiences have been nothing but great. Buy one - slip it into your shirt pocket and enjoy !
