Review: I purchased this camera and sent it back after spending 10 hours trying to connect it to my computer. I tried 3 different computers and when I called customer support that is only available 8 - 5; M-F and they suggested that I had a bad cable but couldn't be sure so I would have to wait 7 - 10 days for a solution to my problem. (The cable is not available through any standard camera stores or office supply stores.) This obviously defeat the purpose of buying a digital camera so I sent it back after only having it for a week. I am very computer savvy and have been able to work with a Kodak camera with out any problem. My frustration came from the lack of customer service from the company to help me solve the problem quickly. I need the pictures for a marketing piece that deadlined the next day. I ended up going to Wolf Camera in Littleton where they were able to extract the pictures for me on a piece of equipment that would have otherwise cost me $100.00 just to retrieve the pictures.

Summary: Happy with my purchase
Review: I shopped around a lot before I bought my agfa 780c, I picked it because it had the most features for the dollar and I wanted to stay under $250. I am happy with the camera. It came with software, the cable that hooked it to my PC, batteries, a leather pouch and another cable to show the pictures on TV. The first try uploading to the pc...it didn't work.. but my cable wasn't plugged in all the way. I have had no problems uploading the pictures since. Yeah--it ain't my dream camera--my dream camera was $300 bucks more! Again, I am very satisfied with my purchase.Also- ordered it on Saturday night--recieved it Monday --with regular shipping! Thanks Amazon!

Summary: great camera for the price
Review: I've had my Agfa ePhoto 780c for about 5 years now. Bought mine when it was $199, but even then I thought it was a great value. I love this camera! No trips to the store for film or developing (1st to drop off, then to pick up). I get to see the pictures as soon as they've been taken. Downloading to the computer is fast and easy. Makes for some nice screensavers. You'll go through a few batteries though, especially if you use the view screen a lot. Get the AC cord if you can find one.

Review: imac owners beware! the necessary cable is not provided for the imac, which they don't tell you and don't seem to make either.

Review: Just got my camera today and tried it out. There is only one bad thing about this camera and it is that you go thru batteries like crazy. I used 8 AA's today. I'm new to digital camera's so I'm not sure if this is supposed to be that way or not. But other than that, the camera is great. Nice looking the pictures are good, at the highest resolution the pics are beautiful. I would recommend this camera, especially at the price. You cannot go wrong. Go get it.

Summary: Okay for the money, but...
Review: One important thing to note that was not mentioned in the product spec's: the camera has four resolution settings, which take up variable amounts of memory. At the lowest resolution setting, the camera can store up to 96 photos, but the images are pretty lousy. At the highest res setting, the images are great but the camera can only store up to TWELVE (12) photos. Unless you want to lug a PC around, you will probably need to buy additional memory cards.

Summary: Wow! What a Fine Intro to Digital Cameras!
Review: So you have seen all your techno-weinie friends with their $2000 cameras. No need to feel deprived anymore. Film is dead! Good riddance. You can take and discard all the pics you want. I would suggest getting an 8 Meg card for the camera after you get it. (I bought the card at a local camera store.) That allows you to shoot 45 pics at hi rez. I am having a ball with this. Hope Amazon.com gets a bunch of these back in soon.

It does not have as high a resolution as some of the newer cameras but if you are printing small photos or not printing at all just sending them across the internet it works great. As far as batteries go all digital cameras with an LCD screen are hard on batteries, rechargables help. I added an 8mg card to mine and was able to get 50+ photos in high res!! I have been very happy with my camera and have had it for over 1 year.
