Summary: This is a camera?
Review: I found this camera to be totally useless. The instant polaroid shots are so small that one needs a magnifying glass to see anything. Digital frustrations have been expressed in other reviews. I bought one for each of my kids for Christmas, but they are now sitting in the closet. They are not incredibly expensive, but in this case, you get what you pay for.

Summary: Polaroid i-zone Digital and Instant Camera
Review: I have actually purchased 4 of these cameras.Two as Christmas gifts. I've only used the digital section on both my cameras. From one to date, i've taken well over 200+digital pictures, quality looks good to me. Have them all stored away and still send some along with emails ! And still taking more pictures. For the price as compaired to one costing hundreds, this isn't such a bad camera. I've also got a good digital "only" camera that takes 30 regular, 10 fine and 5 extra fine pictures. To me the Polaroid i-zone's picture quality isn't much different from the picture setting of 30 on my more expensive digital camera. I'm sure there's some i-zone camera's made that are duds, but lets face it, no matter what's made, there is always bad ones ! Just trade it back in for another !!! Or put out the cash for a expensive one----but you'll find a bad apple among them also ???

Summary: Great digital camera at this price-point
Review: I have had this camera for several weeks and have taken almost 100 pictures so far on the original batteries (most with flash).
PROS: good contrasty images (maybe a bit too much at times);
sharp enough for 5x7 inch prints if Impressions software is used to sharpen (at default setting);
quite accurate color balance with or without flash (better than an Agfa CL18 I tried);
can take close-ups to about 18 inches;
DOES work fine with Windows 98 S.E., my parallel port scanner and USB printer, and I can also use HP PhotoSmart program to download images from the camera as well;
very inexpensive to purchase (if you subtract the cost of the included Instant camera and film).
CONS: narrow flash range for proper exposure (approx 4.5 to 7.5 feet: you can improvise a flash reduction filter for closer. I use a polarizer filter over the lens for this purpose: you can add a 'slave' flash unit for farther);
No add-on memory possible (max number of stored pictures varies from 16 to 18 at 640x480, dependent on detail contained in pictures; can only be deleted from camera memory with Photo Impression 2000 software);
hard to find a small carrying bag that fits snugly;
really need other photo manipulation software for certain changes, e.g. rotation of image (I use one from my scanner);
you must have a free serial mouse port (get a PS/2 mouse).

Summary: I love it!
Review: I love the i-zone combo camera! It's so easy to use, and it takes awesome pictures. The pictures the digital camera takes are as clear as real prints. The only disadvantage is that it doesn't have a zoom, but for it's cheap price, that doesn't really bother me. I really like this camera, and if anyone needs an easy to use digital camera, you should really consider getting this.

Summary: Camera is good and excellent for the money - but, don't drop
Review: I loved the camera and I love it more now that I've purchased a Mustek which is going back. Just be careful - don't drop it! The batteries burn out very quickly and it would be great if it came with some kind of adapter.
