Summary: Solid camera at a great price
Review: It's always great to find a product where the maker keeps the price down by omitting features rather than by cutting corners on quality.

Sure, this camera isn't super-high-resolution, nor does it have many extra features. But what it does it does well. It's easy to use, and the photos are fine for most snapshot-type uses. It's also rugged - highly recommended for kids.

The software loaded with no hassles and has a simple user interface. The camera hooks up to a PC easily, and I haven't had a single glitch uploading.

I will recommend that you add the 16MB MultiMedia Card. Without it, the camera only holds 8 shots. With it, the capacity goes up to 69 - much more useful.

Summary: Frustrated in Texas
Review: The unit simply did not work. I couldn't get it to work and neither could any friends or associates. The USB plug into the camera did not fit correctly. The phone number provided in the back of the instructions was "no longer in service" and the "contact us" portion of the web site was (unbelievably) inoperable. My adice is to STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! JH

Summary: Like, Whoa.
Review: I got this camera for Christmas, and have been pretty impressed. This camera is both small, light, and easy to use. Basically idiot-proof, it transfers pictures to your computer in seconds, no hassle. If you have a Mac, it's one of the few available that can do this. Also, although it says that it only holds 8 pics, that's for the large format. It also holds 28 smaller photos. Still, I'd reccomend getting the memory card. Bai Bai!

Summary: Reasonable quality for a reasonable price
Review: You won't be printing out photo-quality prints from this camera. But that can't be expected for it's price. It's a simple digital camera and is good to take quick shots. Some digital cameras I've used are too complicated to take quick shots. This camera is perfect if you want to put pictures on the web and email. I emailed customer support for this camera and they emailed me back a response within 24 hours. To speak to someone via phone it's a toll-call.

Summary: CAUTION! Before you buy....
Review: I bought this as a beginner digital camera for my young daughter, thinking it would save on film and developing costs.

Well, she was very excited to get the camera, took some pictures, and when I installed the software and tried to download the pictures to my PC--NOTHING!! Seems there is a driver issue. (I have a relatively new computer, WIN98, etc.) I emailed cust. support (for KBGear) and no response. I called them, and the problem was not resolved over the phone. I was left with the answer: download the driver update from our site. I did. Still couldn't get pics to download.

I returned to camera to a local store, and found that several buyers have had the same problem. Many returns on this camera.

I'm now in the market for an inexpensive digital camera for a child!!

Summary: Easy to use, predictable results
Review: It's easy to use, but don't expect a masterpiece. Expect exactly what you saw in front of you. It doesn't correct much in the way of light, but the included software can aid you in that. You are getting exactly what you pay for: a fun camera to start with, that takes great pictures in a variety of lighting.

Summary: Suprisingly simple
Review: I was initially a little disappointed, but further research led me to believe this is a great first digital camera to start with. I have a Sony Mavica, and constantly struggle with not being able to hold it up like a camera. It would be nice if it had a screen to view, but size, weight and price are also important. My dad wants a digital camera and I bought this one for him. With the addtional 16 meg memory I think it'll be a great addition to his travels, and he'll love being able to pick and choose the pictures he keeps.

Summary: This is really not a digital camera
Review: The jam cam looked so cool up until I opend it! This is not a digital camera it dosen't have a monitor. You have to upload the pics onto your computer just to look at how they came out!
