Summary: Great for the money
Review: With the rebate, this is a good deal. You wouldn't want to take it on a vacation, or compare it with a real 35MM camera. But if you want to snap a picture of your kid, or cat, or motorcycle, and zip it off to grandma 2 minutes later, it's perfect. Good enough quality to use for sales flyers, etc.

Summary: Jam Cam took a good picture of spam
Review: Yes folks, if you have some spam to photograph, the Jam Cam 3.0 will do that. I have been wanting to get a digital camera for a long time, but was put off by the expense. Then one day I was looking at a newspaper ad for a new electronics superstore called Fry's and found the Jam Cam. I quickly drove to the store and bought it. Not actually needing a digital camera my brain seached for anything to snap a picture of. Spam was the nearest item at the time so, click. I had actually taken other pics before the spam, but I mentioned it first because it rhymes with jam cam. Skeptical of its ability to take decent pictures I had to try it out. I took some pictures of my scooter, my closet, my truck, and my dog. Many of hte pictures came out very clear. The ones that didnt were either taken on low resolution mode, or with enough light to keep the flash off, but not enough for the jam cam to take a good picture in. Nevertheless, this is a great little camera for the money. This is not the camera for you if you plan on using it for all your precious memories, active shots, or in unique lighting conditions. However, if you need something quick and easy to post pics on ebay or send them in an email it's perfect. My only quibble is the battery life. Using any camera on its hightest resolution mode with the flash is going to eat batteries. This camera is no exception, and really it does not do any worse than other cameras. This camera could also use more storage capacity, but once again, for the price, its perfectly acceptable for only capturing 8 shots.

I have read many bad reviews and even some not so great ones. I feel as though this camera is deserving of its 5 star rating due to the fact that I am a smart consumer. I have done my research on this product and have found it to be less than perfect, but that is perfectly acceptable for an individual who is going to use this for fun e-mails and posting pics on ebay when I decide to clean some junk out of my closet. A smart consumer does their research not only to get the facts about the product, but also to find the best possible price. The research I have done yields a certain level of expectation that excedes the purchase. The point is that when buying the Jam Cam you need to set up your own level of expectations relative to the price you paid. Then, if the product does not meet those expectations you then can slander it or "jam it into the trash" as one reviewer suggested. But I have the feeling that many people expected this to take 1,000 3 megapixel quality pictures off of one battery all stored in the internal memory. It makes me wonder if the some people would expect the spam I took a picture of to taste like a gourmet SPiral hAM. The Jam Cam and my Spam do have two things in common: they worth every penny.

Summary: JamCam3.0 bad product
Review: I have rated this product with a star for it's documentation. This is the only one good thing at it. Also, on their webpage you can find some useful tips. But the most important thing is not ensured: quality images. Especially in shaded areas (but unfortunately not only there) the image has a lot of horizontal lines by different colors. I understand the limited resolution (for it's price), but I can't understand low quality of images. Another problem is that I obtain a fatal error of JamCam software application when I try to download images from camera at 320x240 resolution. I am not able yet to use 320x240 resolution even after I tried all drivers from their website. Also I can't understand why the speed of images download (using USB) is so low. Maybe all this things show a bad conception of this camera (hardware and software). But if you want to give a toy to a child, you can buy it.

Summary: Outstanding camera
Review: I have had my JamCam for about 1 year and I am very pleased with it. I would thoroughly advise anyone who is in need of an inexpensive and good digital camera to purchase this one.

Summary: Wonderful little piece of heaven... figuratively speaking
Review: Well, I've seen people say this and that about this camera. Anybody who said anything negative, get a life. This camera's perfect for anyone who has a life. It's not the ABSOLUTE BEST technology, but for the great great GREAT price, what did you expect? Somebody said that after 50 pictures, the battery was dead. Well, not with mine. My camera's taken 65-75 pictures and the battery still at full strength (on the monitor). The camera's very easy to learn, very user-friendly, and very portable. If you think that this isn't a great camera, you're asking for too much at the price that this costs, and you're obviously very hard-to-please. Maybe my battery's lasting so long because i keep the camera plugged into my computer when I'm not using it, I really don't know. I didn't read the manual, the camera's almost completely self-explanatory, that's how easy it is to use. Anyway, the point is, it gives great pictures, it allows you to do tons of things, and it's simple.

Summary: HORRIBLE....WASTE OF MONEY
Review: I purchased the JamCam 3.0 for my son...what a total waste of money...there are no drivers on the cd so you have to go to either KB Gear's website or JamCam's and try to find a link that actually works, if you find that and click on download you get a window with the QuickTime icon that does NOTHING...no drivers, no pictures...when my computer tries to find the hardware it doesn't exist even though its been properly installed as per the instructions included in the user's guide...also they DON'T respond to any of the emails regarding these problems...what a waste!

Summary: Fun little camera
Review: Bought the camera about a week ago and use it on my Mac and son's PC. Had no trouble loading it on either-very simple. Take's a great picture for e-mailing etc. Would recommend the camera for anyone who wants to get into digital cameras and not spend a lot of money.

Summary: Horrible camera!
Review: I got this camera free with the purchase of my new computer, and in all honesty, it is only worth it because it was free. The pictures are not clear at all, and the overall feel of the camera is cheap, I thought it was a toy camera at first and laughed when I pulled it out of the box. Unless you can get it for free, then do not pay any money for it!

Summary: Good For Beginners and Kids
Review: I got my Jam Cam free when I purchsed my computer. I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend the money on a good digital camera at that point. I wasn't sure how well it would go along with my lifestyle.

It's not a bad little camera. The biggest limitations are the lack of memory space and the quality of the pictures. Some pictures come out great. Especially outdoor shots. Other pictures are awful, the color being bad just for starters. It's easy to use though. If you're looking for something that's handy and easy to use, this is it.

Summary: VERY BAD CAMERA
Review: Im telling you, do not buy this camera. It's not even worth...dollars. The pictures are come out very blurry, and the flash is so bright.. You could get blind from it. And not to mention you have to buy a battery for it every 2 weeks. overall i rate this camera zero stars, DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA. even if your a begginer.
