Rating: Summary: Takes Pictures, then Eats Batteries! Review: The camera works nicely and takes good pictures. Unfortunately, you can only use it for about half an hour before the batteries die. And don't even think about buying the camera dock with the rechargeable batteries... those batteries arrived dead on delivery and HP had no customer service number for me to call and no warranty card or information included. They say they have a 90 day warranty... good luck on getting any help. There must be better companies to buy from.
Rating: Summary: ehhh.. Review: This is the first Digital camera I have ever own, and knew I didn't want to spend alot of money, but still wanted to have a quality product that I could take good pictures. HP has a reputation for superior imaging, and I have to say, I am extremely impressed with the pictures I've taken with this.
Now, it doesn't have alot of bells and whistles, but, chances are, if you are looking in this price range, you don't expect them. However, this camera does allow you to take video clips, with sound, and the range of picture options (motion, timer, etc.) are really ample. Overall, I am impressed with the features packed in for the price. And, photo quality, very nice!
On the down side, which is typical of many digital cameras, it is a battery hog, and I highly recommend rechargable batteries as an additional purchase. Also, the viewing screen is a bit small, so might be difficult to see pic quality on the screen (but trust me, it's there!) But, for the price, these are marginal inconveniences if you are looking to add a digital camera to your list of tech toys!
