Rating: Summary: The PERFECT Digital Camera Review: Polaroid's PDC640 Digital Camera kit is one of the best moderately priced starter kits around! It comes with all of the accessories that you need in order to take it out and start shooting wonderfully vibrant and clear color photos. This one even comes with Duracell Alkaline batteries, so everything that you need is right in the box! This camera is perfect for novice and intermediate uses, but expert photographers should find this camera equally great! I have seen images from other cameras that cost well into the thousands of dollars; the quality between those and the Polaroid are VERY compairable. The only quibble that I had was the user manual, which could have been more clear when it came to describing the camera's special features. Also, this camera isn't as hard on batteries as one might think; only use the built in LCD for occasionally viewing your photos (turn it off otherwise) and the batteries last for a long time. A great buy!
Rating: Summary: Very good digital camera Review: This camera is very easy to use. You can select different picture quality. I use it a lot to put picture on my website and find this camera very handy. Little problem, you cannot see the picture in the little screen if the light outside is too bright and the batteries doesn't last long. This is a great camera.
Rating: Summary: Great Look, Semi-Great Pictures!! Review: This camera is very handy and takes good pictures. I give it for my son to use a lot (maybe I should just get him one). I can't really tell the difference, in quality, between between the different modes. I usually just use the three star mode. The quality of the pictures are farely well. They look awesome though if edit them. I edit them with Adobe Photoshop Deluxe. Anyways, the pictures are nice. The video cable is convient, though the only thing I can do on the TV is view the pictures and take picture. You can't delete or do much on the TV, so don't rely on it too much. The AC adpter is handy, because like most digital cameras, they consume batteries very fast. I strongly recommend buying some rechargable ones, though I carry my AC adpter everywhere. Overall, this camera is a great buy for its price. Great for beginners too. Do get this cmaera!!
Rating: Summary: Great Little Camera Review: This is a great little camera for email pictures and such, it dosn't replace a 35mm. Be sure to get NiMH rechargable AA Batteries, which work much better than regular batteries.
Rating: Summary: great starter digital camera Review: this is a great starter camera, as far as digital cameras go. the only drawback for it is that it eats batteries badly...my suggestion is to also purchase a rechargeable battery system with at least 8 AAs, so you can have some in the camera at all times. this would be a great camera for people interested in getting into digital photography.
Rating: Summary: Great Starter Camera Review: This is an excellent starter camera for anyone who doesn't want the best resolution of pictures. Basically, if you are going to use this camera to send pictures over the net you will be set. If you plan on printing and framing themm, then you better step it up. Yes, it [uses] up batteries but so does every other digital camera! This is a great camera for the $$$ and will get you started. Plus you get a 8MB card to store pictures, and if that isn't enough you can pick up a 16MB card at certain auction sights (...) All in all, it is an excellent camera if you don't want to spend hundreds.
Rating: Summary: Easy to use Review: This is my first attempt with this type of camera. The Polariod PDC 640 Plus has to be by far the best to learn on. Every thing you need to know is right there at the push of a button. It's light weight is an asset and the LCD display is very clear.A great starter camera for any one.
Rating: Summary: Very Good Durable Camera Review: This is my first digital, however, it has kept up with me and that is what I needed. Good batteries are essential for good operation, etc. The picture quality is very good. I have used it for work and have received positive feedback regarding the image quality. It is compact and durable enough for my field excursions. Don't let it get wet! The picture volume on the medium resolution is impressive. I did have trouble getting another 8 meg. memory card. Once I obtained one, I can take up to 180 images at medium resolution (between two cards). It is a very good camera for the price. Too bad about the other Polaroid digitals.
Rating: Summary: Best Digital Camera! Review: This is one of the best camera I have ever bought before in this price range. In the Lowest resolution, you get 327 pictures, in the 2nd lowest, 141, the 3rd, 90, and the best 45. That's with a 8MB memory card. It comes with the 8MB card, the Case, the software. Wires for the PC and TV. It hookes up to the PC using a serial cable. It's a great camera for the price and I recommend buying this one.
Rating: Summary: This is the BEST digital camera for your money. Review: This is the BEST inexpensive digital camera available. You DONT have to power down your computer and then power up each time you use the camera as the next review suggests. I just leave my cable attached to my computer and plug the camera in to download anytime I need to. I cannot give this little camera enough praise. There is no ZOOM on this camera, but what can you expect for this price? My first PDC 640 Plus was stolen and after trying two other more pricey competitor's cameras, I'm BACK for another PDC 640 Plus PhotoMax. ...Nuff said
