Summary: Nice inexpensive digicam
Review: I have had one of these cams for about a month now, and I haven't had any of the problems others have had with it, it is possable they had bad units (with something this inexpensive, that will happen more often, happens a lot with more expensive ones also)
I work retail, and sell digicams often... I wish we sold this camera also, I could sell quite a few of them easily.
you pay this little for a digital cam, yes there will be some problems.. the slower memory write speed being one, yes some other cams are super quick, but then again, they didn't cost little either.. some slightly more expensive cams don't give you a way to vie your pics .. this one does, most inexpensive cams (up to $200.00) only have digital zoom (usually 2x) this has a 3x optical zoom, yes other cams are higher pixel count, but this cam isn't meant to replace them, but to be used when carrying one of the bigger cams isn't as convienent. For example, I carry mine all day in my pocket, anytime I wanna take a pic, I can, my Fuji 1400Zoom is quite a bit bigger and heavier, so I tend to leave it home..I have taken some very nice shots with this cam yes you need to hold still while taking them, but it's worth it.
all in all, this cam may not be for everybody, what I suggest is you buy one, and try it, the worst case is you don't liek it and return it
I am keeping mine

Summary: great pictures and small size
Review: I love this camera! The small size allows me to take the camera everywhere. With my 35mm camera I was always leaving at home and I didn't have it when I needed it. My friends have larger digital cameras with great LCD screens on the back but they burn through batteries so quick they get frustrated. I can review my pictures through the viewfinder which is not as easy but it let's me know if I have captured the moment or need to take another shot. I know there are higher resolution cameras available but for the money and convenience it fits my needs for the next couple of years when new technology will be way beyond everything out on the market now.

Summary: All the basics, great extras
Review: I wanted a compact digital camera with some extra abilites, an optical zoom being one of them. Standard resolution is produced to make normal pictures and the in-eyepiece video screen is an amazing function. The ability to review and delete your pictures (up to 46 on standard resolution) without the tremendous battery drain caused by the LCD screen models is the most practical compromise I could ask for. All told, an excellent standard camera, not flashy, just useful. Exactly what I needed.

Summary: Camera works, software [stinks]
Review: I was pleased with the photo quality and the amount of pictures I could take. Although I would have liked abit longer of a battery life. Camera is perfect for online pics if you don't need to print 8x10's and just want simple pics to email your friends and family.
Battery life was not terribly long, went through a battery in 3 days, but that is apparently normal with digital camera's.
The biggest problem that I had was with software to transfer the files between the computer and camera. It [stinks]. I had to remove the battery from the camera and replace it every time in order for the software to work, otherwise it would not recoginze the camera. I was using Win2000 Pro. I ended up returning the camera because of this, otherwise the camera is a good price and takes decent pictures. It might work better in a Win 98 environment, the box did not say that Win2000 was a supported OS.

Summary: Microdisplay Not Reliable
Review: I was really happy to see that there was finally a small digital camera available that also had an LCD screen. I have had it for a month now and was happy with the image quality, but not with the reliability of the display. I left the camera in my car for only an hour while I was sightseeing on vacation. When I returned and tried to use it again, the display was practically destroyed. It had lines all over it as if it had shattered in the heat. My previous digital camera LCD on the back did not have this problem. Before any one else makes the same mistake, you better not use this camera outdoors or in the heat. Otherwise, you will be disappointed to find out that the display is ruined.

Summary: regarding the price
Review: If you are going to purchase this product, and cost is your reason for doing so, I recommend visiting your local Wal-Mart (as almost everyone, in the US at least, has access to one). My reason for saying so is that you can purchase this camera for 59.99 rather than 199.99.

Summary: Great Camera for a 1 mega pixel
Review: It is a really good camera for a low cost one. I love it. It's small and light and you can take it anywhere. Carry it in your purse, pocket, anywhere. The pictures are nice and almost always you never have to use the flash! Not like regular cameras, even inside you don't need a flash, in fact it's better without the flash. And in completely pitch dark if you use the flash you'd be amazed at how bright the picture is. Great. ...

Summary: On second thought.....
Review: My 1st review was 'a mixed bag', but even after trying to tweak this thing to improve its performance, more that 50% of its images are too blurry to bother saving. In addition, the flash is so hot that unless you place scotch tape over it (2 layers sort of did the trick...kind of an unsightly tweak), your indoor shots will all be useless. In short, forget it, it's a piece of junk.
