Rating: Summary: Goodbye film HELLO Digital! Review: After working my way through a Kodak DC50 and then purchasing a DC215 Millennium, I've found another great camera in the Kodak Lineup! The camera is easy to use and great on batteries. The USB connection works like a charm and allows you to be up and running in a matter of minutes. The color saturation is picture perfect, and the camera settings allow for beautiful 8" x 10" prints. I print quite frequently on an older Hp 880c but the pictures are outstanding. The only negatives are the placement of the viewfinder and corrections to the manual. Sometimes your nose smudges the screen when you're looking through the viewfinder. As for the manual, they mistakenly printed it to include a "beep" setting. There is no such setting and Kodak assured me that they were printing new manuals to correct their oversight. All in all this is an awesome camera, that sets up in minutes and is a snap to use. Go out and get one!

Rating: Summary: the newest 400~500$ digital camera Review: As most of users give high credit to 280, this newer one might be a good choice for coming buyers. I have doubt to buy this one or Olympus490, at last I select this one because I think newer is better in such a rapid developping tech area...

Rating: Summary: Excellent Transition for Film Freaks on a Budget Review: Does the scent of emulsion give you paroxysms of joy? Nothing make you sigh like ripping open a box of Kodak E 100? Does putting a cover over your head and squatting behind a gridded ground glass trying to focus a 4 X 5 make you happy? Would you prefer to sniff hypo and fixer than cocaine? You're a film freak like me. But film may be over. Expensive, environmentally unsound, and difficult to use properly, film and film cameras are on the way out. My Kodak DC3400 replaces most the equipment I've lugged around with me for years. This camera, while limited in it's options, gives crisp images everytime. With Photoshop or other editing software, say good-bye to bracketing, photofinishing, and the unuseable shots you have to pay for. Would I like to own a digital back for my 4 X 5? You bet, but as an amateur photographer, the DC3400 frees me from expensive mistakes. Some of the drawbacks are strictly digital - batteries go fast, flash memory cards fill, and I can't really take this unit on a long time without either a laptop or more flash memory cards, but those are my problems, not everyone's. Worth every penny. You'll never long for the days of Tri-X again.

Rating: Summary: After comparing several cameras, this proved to be the best! Review: I bought this over 2 months ago when it first came out after using several different kinds. This product is worth more than the price! The pictures are clear, crisp and vibrant with color! It is simple to use and the software is easy to use when transfering pictures to your PC. I love the fact that my pictures can be deleted immediately if I don't like it and no film is wasted. Along with this camera I purchased the Hewlett Packard P1000 to print the pictures and that printer is also wonderful!!! Pictures come out KODAK quality!!
