Summary: Miserable junk that installs spyware
Review: Don't waste your money. This little "jewel" is sold by a Seattle startup called McGowan Tech, run by a youngster named Lon McGowan (any relation to the 5-star posters, I wonder, hmmm?). The installation program tried to install the EVision keystroke logger spyware, and then crashed because my spyware blocking software caught it in the act. I went to their website, only to find that this model has been discontinued, and that there are no drivers available that work with Windows 2K SP4. So into the trashcan it goes....

Summary: Overpriced and underperforms
Review: For this price, you can do much better. This is not a bad camera .... But when I see what's out there, the i-click lacks.

Pros: Lightweight, catchy name
Cons: Overpriced, flimsy (don't drop this people), flash is very weak. Do not have your subjects more than 4 feet away. Ergonomically not well designed. I disagree strongly with some of the previous reviews I've read here about picture quality.

Not sure who "McGowan Technologies" are, but it looks like a startup journey businessman who is trying to make good. Not a horrible effort, but way, way, and I mean WAY, overpriced. As digitals come down in price, this company better respond with a better product, or lower the price on this one. You can go to [a local retailer] of course and spend less for equal performance.

Go [on-line] and look up equivalent 0.3 cameras, like the Argus DC2200. ...You will find that the iclick is just too overpriced.

Again, this is not junk. But it's way overpriced, and a very good example of what a clever name (iclick) can do for a mediocre and overpriced product.

Summary: Okay for the price, but
Review: Guess that I should have known better, but for some reason I thought that you would be able to see the photo thru the display on the back of the camera. Display is for an LCD read out only that displays info such as number of photos remaining, etc. We gave this to our grand daughter who was woefully disappointed in not being able to view her photos. To view photos you need to install software and connect via the supplied cable. The fact that all necessary items are included is good. This is still probably a good deal - affodable and gets the job done for smaller photos prints and posting to web, etc.

Summary: Piece of junk
Review: I bought this camera for my 8 year old daughter. I thought I was getting an easy to use, entry level digital camera. What I actually got was a piece of junk.

The instructions were difficult to understand, the software would not install properly, and the camera itself sometimes didn't work.

I am sending it back [...] for a refund.

Bottom line: DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA!

Summary: perfect!
Review: I bought this camera for my mother for mother's day, I haven't given it to her yet. As soon as it arrived at my house I opened it up and started taking pictures, It's great, it's easy, and the software installation for the computer is easy as well. I thought that because of the low mega pixel value and using the camera on the default setting the pictures would be very pixalated, but they weren't, I was happily surprised! I am confident that my mother who is new at using computers will be able to use this camera because it has proven to me to be very user friendly(then hopefully she can ditch that old poloroid she's been using for years!). Thanks!

Summary: I can't believe it
Review: I bought this camera, it came in the mail, I opened it up and installed the batteries and I was shooting pictures.

This thing was easier than trying to figure out how to load film in my other camera!

Within an hour I was emailing the pictures to my friends.

I can't believe it. Something that works.

Summary: I-click
Review: I got this camera a week and a half ago, and I am very happy with it. I'm no expert on electronics, but i can't get over how light it is. There's not a million buttons, and it fits in my purse. I even dropped it (oops!) but it still works great. Thanks alot!

Summary: Ease of use. Instant success.
Review: I have been hesitant to move to digital as I have been an amatuer photo hobbyist for years. I must admit it was the extremely affordable price that got me to purchase this camera. I was very impressed when I received it and realized that it is 100% ready to use out of the box. What a delight in this day and age when you have to go buy a bunch of accessories to use anything new. I found the camera especially useful for traveling as you never have to change film. I later purchased an upgrade memory card and now I can take almost 500 pictures and never worry about changing film or downloading the photos to my computer.

Thank you for a wonderful product that made moving to digital completely painless!!

Summary: My First Digital Camera
Review: I live in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains where I'm a ski instructor at Beaver Creek. For the last 2 years I've been looking for a digital camera that could easily fit in my jacket pocket and that I could use to email those pictures to my clients and their kids skiing and having fun on the mountain. I was worried that the cold air would affect the camera's performance, but after 4 hours in 16 degrees and snowing weather, I had 62 pictures before the camera ran out of memory. Then I added a flashcard which gives me an additional 60-70 pictures. I emailed the pictures to them in a matter of minutes from my home computer. I love the size, durability, look and user-friendly features of the i-Click. The only problem I had was with the batteries. I found that to open the battery holder you needed to pry the hinge open with your thumbnail. Also the batteries that came with it were not very good, so I bought the batteries specially made for digital cameras at Wal-Mart. They work much better.
