Review: Don't have a problem with a Toshiba product or you will be on your own and have a useless camera! Toshiba said too bad, good luck, goodbye $$$$$ when our Toshiba stopped working. No more Toshiba products for us.

Summary: it hurts so much to not use this camera
Review: I had this camera for about a year and a half, it took AMAZING pictures, and was really easy to use, especially since it was my first digital camera. Then all of a sudden it stopped working. The zoom wouldn't go out anymore and I kept getting a message that the lens cap was on. I was very disappointed, so I tried to contact Toshiba about getting it fixed, I was even willing to pay, they wanted me to ship it to the Midwest somewhere to see if it could even be fixed. When I contacted the place to see how to go about this all they wanted me to pay $50 just to get it looked at before I even knew what was wrong. Toshiba was really no help at all and it hurt a lot, I was in pain for days, lots of pain in the side especially... So my camera had a funeral. I miss it a lot because it did take really swell pictures, and I bought it when it was around $500, so imagine how sad I feel to see its $200 now! I would say, don't buy from Toshiba, they don't even seem to shed a tear for all your pain if something breaks.

I'd give the camera 5 stars for how well it works, but because of it breaking pretty quickly for no reason I could figure out, and Tosibas meanness I say 3.

Review: I have had this camera about a month now. It takes beautiful photos outdoors and the zoom is great. It's easy to use. I haven't used the movie mode since I already have a great digital camcorder. This is my 3rd digital camera. The last one was a Toshiba 2.1 megapixel and it was okay, but the 4.2 megapixels make the jump to 35mm quality photos. The largest I've made a photo was 8x10 so far, but it was clear and not a pixel in sight. A definite "keeper".

Review: I have the toshiba M81 and I have had a great time with it. I am new with the digital camera routine and this camera seems so easy to use and the quality of the photos (even on the low image) are great and print out so clear. It takes great pictures in low light without a flash. This was one quality that I wanted. I am so pleased with the camera that I also bought one for my son and his wife. He has emailed me several pictures and again, the quality is superb.

Review: I purchased this camera in March of 2002. I have had to send it for repairs twice already, for the same problem. The second time I asked for a new camera. I was told I would probably get a refurbished one, rather than new. I took 3 pictures with the "replacement" camera and the same thing happened. I am not a happy camper. I will never spend this much on a digital camera again, when much less expensive ones seem to work just as well or better.
