Summary: The only company which charges for the driver!!
Review: Too many cons, so few pros:
1) Very slow "bootup"
2) You cannot take photos from a moving car. It complains that that image has to stabilize. (I want to take a picture when Iam ready, not when the camera thinks Iam ready)
3) No lens cover
4) Lastly, and most importantly, HP is now charging for their drivers. The only company which charges ...for the driver, in case you lose the CD which comes with the camera!! I think this is outrageous. I can only hope other companies dont follow this example.

Trust me, you can find a better product for the same price.

Summary: Nice!
Review: Very nice digital camera for the price. Nice image quality (for under a hundred bucks). The user options are easy to use and it's easy to upload images to your computer.

However, like most digital cameras, it eats batteries like no other. Unless you want to buy new batteries every 30 pictures, rechargable batteries (four AAs) and a recharger are very much necessary. i got Quest batteries and a recharger for about fifteen bucks and have recharged them about 5 times already over about 3 months.

The flash is sometimes too bright- make sure you're standing at least arm's length if not more away from the subject or turn the flash off. The self-timer is also very nice for this if you are taking a self-photo with the flash, because simply holding the camera arms length away will wash out your face completely.

A memory card is also highly recommended- at the lowest quality only 54 images fit. Medium fits 19, and high 12.

However, i'm really being picky. This is a great camera for trips (with a recharger and a nearby computer to unload images if you run out of room), a webcam, beginner's photography, and even a family camera. If you're looking for your first digital camera or a webcam for a nice price, this one is what you're looking for.

Summary: I am not a eletronic wiz kid !!!
Review: We got this 3 days before we left on our VC on our first cruise....so we had no idea how good it would do. We also took our regular camera along just incase....I bought a 32mb smartcard..so we could take lots of pixs...we were able to take over 100 pictures and we put batteries in the camera before we left home and never had to change the batteries our entire trip...the only problem was when out in the sunlight you could not see your LCD screen very well, so i just looked thru the view finder and snaped away...we really werent sure what we were getting.....but they are beautiful..all 100 turned out great....I was so happy with the results....best buy we have ever made and it was so easy to operate..I highly recommend this product....it was better then I ever could have hoped for , especailly for the price...thks Sheryl

Summary: This is a great digital camera for everyday pic's
Review: We received this camera free with our HP computer. We love this camera. It takes great pictures outside. I will agree with another reviewer the flash washes you out inside. I either turn it off or go farther back and hit the zoom button. I like the video feature, but there is no sound, the videos look like ones from the 50's. It's kinda cool, the old fashioned look. Just don't take too long of videos, then you can't email them. I bought the 128mb card, and can take 418 pictures. The only thing I would recommend is rechargable batteries. I bought the special batteries for high tech devices, we used the camera not even one whole day and the batteries were dead. We are so impressed every time we upload our pictures how nice they look. Since we are so addicted to using a digital camera and we love the HP, we're going to get the nicer model now and keep this one for the kids. It's so easy. Someone we knew let us use another digital camera, a Kodak, and the camera never worked right for us, it would never hold a charge, it was such a pain to learn how to use it. The HP you just point and shoot. I highly recommend this digital camera. The software you get with it is very easy to use as well.
