Summary: Great Camera!
Review: This Fuji is really easy to use and takes great pictures. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and sharpness of the pictures.

One minor complaint. The lens cap does not fit securely on the lens adapter. Aside from that the camera is an excellent buy.

Summary: Great pix, really flimsy body
Review: OK. You want great pictures from a camera, right? You'll get them with this one. But there's something else a really good ... camera should deliver. A good, solid feel in your hand. It's almost TOO light. The entire camera is PLASTIC and has the feeling of a disposable. This would be a 5 star PLUS camera if the body were titanium and it had a bit more heft. I wouldn't reccomend this camera to a friend. I KNOW there are more solid cameras out there. Look for them and don't but this one.

Summary: Decent Camera
Review: 1. This camera does make you work for your exposure and shot in low light conditions. You simply need to use the flash, and sometimes that means craking it up to F 8.2 and ev up to .6 off. If you are willing to do that, excellent shots are possible in low light.

2. Really nice camera overall -- great image quality and so on.

3. the optical zoom is great and distinguishes the camera

4. if you have a notebook handy, the 16 mb xD card is fine. Just download it.

5. consistently good shots for am amateur photographer -- I'm happy and impressed

Summary: Barrel Distortion, Dim viewfinder
Review: I was disappointed with the amount of barrel distortion visible in prints made with meduim to wide angle zoom settings. Not for architecture.

While the TTL/SLR design is appealing, the TTL viewfinder is dim in low light. The viewfinder image also becomes much sharper in the freeze frame after shooting than while composing.

A decent camera, but a bit overpriced for the above level of quality.

Summary: Great pics, easy to use from novice to advanced
Review: I bought this camera for Christmas, and what a treat I gave myself!! I was taking pictures in less than 5 minutes and what great pictures they are! I had researched cameras for weeks before purchasing, and the 3800 won. They improved the things that people were complaining about in the 2800, ie the hand-hold (which now has rubber-like grips that make it natural to your hand and non-slip, Electronic Viewing Window (which I had no problems seeing). You will need to read about how to adjust the camera for very bright indoor light, or really now light, but it has every kind of adjustment you can think of. It works in auto, manual, scene, and video. The video is a kick! And while the sound playback on the camera itself is not very loud, when you download it and play, it's spectacular! What fun this camera is, and what incredible pictures it takes. The batteries last a long time, you can date stamp the pics and/or add your own captioning. I just invested in a 128mb card, so I can take pictures and video for a looooong time without having to change cards. The 16mb that it comes with is admirable (I took 31 pics and a 60 sec video), but if your looking to take a vacation and want to be sure you have enough space, or if you want longer video times, it's worth the [money]. (on-line) for the 128 card. This camera also has the option of filters and other lens and a tripod connection... now, this is one powerful little camera! Fuji cameras are rated #1 in a number of categories and at least one or two of their cameras manage to stay in the top 3 Editor pics with computer magazines. BTW, I have no association/stock, etc. with Fuji at all. Go to some other sites and read the feedback on this camera as I did. You'll see that even pros give it a top rating. You won't be disappointed with this little gem!!

Summary: Open box, put in batteries, take pictures.........That's it!
Review: This is by far, the best money I have spent in a long time. I took this camera out of the box in the parking lot of the store, loaded the batteries and mem card, and was set to go. Easy as that. It takes GREAT pics, never had ANY prob. with the red eye I heard about. I researched for a month. I'm so glad I did instead of the Kodak my family suggested. This pretty little thing blows them away!!! Amazing pictures. Clear as a bell. You won't be disappointed with this purchase. And the software is as easy as using the camera. I took pics at 3pm, my mother was viewing them at 4pm.

Summary: Great pics, easy to use
Review: Great picture quality, Easy to use and value for money. the viewfinder does not operate too well in low light conditions but i do notfind that a problem at all given the ease of operation and the nice pic software that fuji provides. Recommend purchasing rechargeable batteries while purchasing the product. Kudos to Fuji for the great product.

Summary: fugi finepix 3800
Review: I think this is a great camera. I have had no problem with the lighting indoor or out. I have done several shots with / without the flash and on different settings just to compare. The outdoor shots have been great and the video works awesome. Took ski pictures with cloudy and bright sun and no problems. I am very impressed with how long the batteries last.

Summary: Great value, easy to use
Review: The Fuji FinePix 3800 was my first foray into the world of digital cameras after having used SLR cameras of various types over the years. I found the 3800 easy to use, with intuitive controls and features. The camera is very light and compact. It features full auto mode as well as scene modes for action, portrait and landscape photographs, as well as four flash options. It also has movie and full manual modes. You can also add an audio note to any picture. Picture review mode was easy to use and accurately showed the picture quality, so there was no doubt about which shots to save. You can choose between view finder or LCD screen viewing with the touch of a button. The 6X optical zoom gives a great deal of flexibility for shot selection. A+!

Summary: Great camera!
Review: First off, this camera is amazingly easy to figure out. I'm only 15 and had been using the camera for about two days. I already know most functions. Picture quality is superb, color is lively and vibrant, and lighting levels are great. The zoom, being as high as it is, is still capable of maintaining good focus and sharpness. This is the very first digital camera I've ever used, but what a great camera to begin with.
