Summary: Great starter camera for kids
Review: We bought this for our 5 yr old to learn with. He loves taking pictures with it and we love not having to pay for film/developing. Overall it has been easy to use and capture pictures with, but the software and downloading hasn't been the easiest to manipulate. This causes us the most difficulties. Once we do get the pictures downloaded, those taken outside are usually pretty good (considering the age/experience of the photographer at hand) but inside photos are poor quality. Overall this makes a good first digital camera for a young kid and we are even considering getting one for our 2 1/2 year old. Oh yeah, we've never been able to get it to hold 300 pictures, but it usually averages about 80-85 (this could just be our settings and we haven't bothered with checking it out, yet)

Review: not the best pictures but what do you expect from such a tiny trendy toy. it's easy to use. fun to own and the pix aren't half bad. wish it had a flash. i guess that's asking too much for thirty bucks. get it have fun !

Summary: really quite useless
Review: Two fudamental problems with this camera: poor image quality and flaky operation.

I believe the poor image quality is due to the cheap fixed-focus lens. All my pictures come out blurry. It's not just resolution, because other cameras do a nice job at VGA resolution.

The most frustrating problem is that this camera will often just lock-up, refusing to respond to buttons or to the PC. The only way to recover is to pull out the battery, thereby losing the stored pictures.

Don't buy this model.

Summary: Not what you want!
Review: The product is priced cheap and is small.
But you get what you pay for...
I had no problem with no flash, bad indoor pictures, losing pictures if you do not change the battery etc.
I bought it for my daughter.
But the camera often will not download the pictures.
I contacted tech support and they told me to delete all the pictures, take out the battery and wait awhile.
This does not help since you lose ALL your pictures everytime this happens.
Why have a camera if you cannot get the pictures?
This little issue alone makes the camera useless.

Summary: A great little camera!
Review: I have a good 35mm (delegated now to occasional slides use) and a Sony MVC-FD90 digital, which I use regularly and love. I purchased the Blink 2 a few months ago as a secondary, take-everywhere snap shooter -- for daytime situations not reqiring the quality or options of my Sony and where I, otherwise, wouldn't be inclined to carry an expensive / bulky camera.

The Blink 2 is inconspicuously with me most times and always ready for use. It is very simple to operate and performs well (better than expected). The camera includes good photo enhancement software, worth the price alone. I usually shoot at 640x480 resolution and am pleased with results (good as should be expected at that level). The camera averages 60 images in capacity -- presumably double at 320x240. I personally like the fact that this camera will shoot to within a 2 ft. range. Haven't tried the video feature yet, but assume that performance will be as stated. The biggest drawback is battery consumption (the camera will eat a AAA battery with use) and the possibility of losing pictures if a dying battery is neglected (left unchanged). Why I rated the camera at 4 instead of 5. The camera will let you know when it's time to change though, and this can easily be done without losing pictures (thus an acceptable drawback at this price range). I always download ASAP after shooting, remove the battery -- and carry a spare. The camera comes with a handy cord and small video stand but no case. Any little 2.5 x 2.5 container fills that void. It doesn't feature flash and isn't intended for low light use.

All in all, this is a great little second camera for anyone on the go and I wouldn't be without it. Well worth its cost. Anyone not happy with it had unrealistic expectations.

Summary: Oye
Review: I thought that this would be a great little camera to show off my new house before and after. Well I was wrong. First the batteries run out constantly and second, the software is not compatible with XP. This is not helpful. I guess that the adage you get what you pay for applies here.

Summary: PIECE OF JUNK
Review: I had a trip planned to Europe and one month ago I bought a Style Cam Blink II digital camera. I tried this out a few days before my trip only to discover that it was defective- the memory chip would not hold the photos. I exchanged this camera a few days later for another, which seemed to work fine.

So, I took this new Style Cam Blink II to Luxembourg and snapped a couple dozen spectacular pictures, only to have them disappear on me!! The batteries were brand new, and I also made sure to keep the camera in a safe place where the switches would not accidentally get pushed.

Style Cam Blink II - what a piece of junk!!

Discount price of the Style Cam Blink II- [item price]
Trip to Europe $ 3,800.00
Loss of a few dozen once-in- a -lifetime photo shots- priceless

It's a shame the Clinton administration sold China nuclear secrets in lieu of camera technology.

Sincerely,

Summary: Not Great
Review: I would not recomend this camera to anyone that actually wants to capture their lives in photographs... When I fist got this camera I was very pleased with it... The pictures are of pretty good quality for the small price. I took a few pictures and loaded the software in.... It didnt work. I reloaded it a few times and finally got it to work. I figure it works and then bring it in for some special events. Now, generally when you take pictures you figure their safe on a camera. Not with this one. My photos have been erased several times just because the camera got tapped, or knocked. And when it does work, if you take over 20 pictures, there is bound to be one picture that is "corupt" That is, it will not uploaded and the computer will not recognize it. What does this mean? You guessed it! You cant get any of your other pictures off of the camera. Then, if you ask their "helpful website" they tell you need to reset the camera which basically means deleting all of the pictures, and defeating the point of even trying to take pictures. I am gonna get rid of this camer ASAP and recommend you steer away from it!
