Summary: Come on guys...it's really NOT that bad!
Review: I'll admit it...I purchased this because I'm technologically challenged and didn't want to drop hundreds on a digital camera that I wouldn't be able to figure out. I had read all the negative reviews about this camera, but I had an opportunity to purchase this for under $15, so I thought what the heck, and I bought it. I was very surprised at how easy this thing is to use. I'm using XP and I had absolutely no problems with uploading my pictures. Yes, it sucks that there is no flash, and yes, the picture quality is not that great, but you get your money's worth. If you're under good light and hold very still, you get some good pictures! The one thing that really bothers me about this is the fact that I can't seem to center any of my pictures. I also don't like the fact that you need to be near a computer if you want any chance of actually getting your pictures uploaded before the battery drains. Overall, this is a great camera for beginners and people who have the patience to understand that only about 1 in 5 pictures you take are going to come out decent.

Summary: OK if it works
Review: Bought this throw in the purse camera for shopping. First issue was the driver. The camera simply would not work from the supplied software,I loaded, reloaded, totally went in and cleaned out everything on computer dealing with this company and this camera, tried again, recleaned. Finally got it to work from the website driver download which was a lot of extra work.
The camera still did not work correctly, had trouble getting the images to download, called tech support, had to take the battery from the camera which deleted the pictures, then it finally started to work.
Thought fine, took it shopping, came home and the next morning wanted to download the yesterday pictures, none there. Found that the battery had been drained overnight, this was a fresh new battery, the power button had been shut off plus it is suppose to shut off automatically. So those pictures were lost.
Then their web site has no e-mail support, you must use their non toll free telephone support.
So basically this hunk of junk is going in the trash. I only wanted a cheap camera for shopping so the one time it worked it filled the need.
So my basic dislike was not being able to get the camera to work from the supplied software, kept getting warning you have preformed an unsafe procedure and contact the vendor. Yeh right at my expense. Then for the images to be lost if the batteries or the camera does not work correctly.

Summary: Piece of Junk!
Review: This is a fine camera if picture quality is not a high priority and you don't mind repeated mechanical failure. I'm in the process of returning my BlinkII to SiPix for the second time for the same problem: the button you press to take the picture stopped working. Yes, the price is great on this camera, but keep in mind that you'll only get maybe a month's use out of it (if you're lucky) ... and that's if you use it as sparingly as I did.

Summary: Great size, but it is not very compatible
Review: Couldn't get this camera to connect with Windows XP. I tried it on 5 different computers, using USB 1.0 and 2.0. None of them would work properly with the software that it shipped with or with the updates/fixes downloaded from the web site.

Summary: not great
Review: This camera worked ok at first, but then it started taking really fuzzy pictures. After that it started running out of battery fast and then I'd loose the few fuzzy pictures I was able to take.

Summary: Disappointing
Review: I bought one last year, but even at high resolution the picture quality was poor. I didn't expect it to be as good as my 2 mega-pixel camera, but I expected it to produce adequate 4x6 pictures. It didn't!

Summary: Not Worth The Money
Review: I was interested in experimenting with photography, so I picked this camera out as a present for my sixteenth birthday. Let me tell you, it is not worth it.

First of all, it is visually appealing, and the size is convenient, I will give it that. But the picture quality is terrible. I have sometimes taken 60 pictures at a time, with only 2 or 3 suitable for email. Pictures are dark and grainy. Don't even think of enlarging them or printing them out, it's just a waste of ink. And since this camera has no flash, taking pictures inside is nearly impossible.

Now that I've addressed the issue of picture quality, i will address the issue of software. To put it simply, it bites. I'm sure the capability to take pictures while the camera is hooked up to your computer is great--or at least it would be if it worked on my computer. It always says "camera does not exist." I've downloaded updated drivers, reset my camera, and ran USB Doctor, and nothing works. Also, you will randomly be told that the "camera does not exist" when you are attempting to upload the pictures onto your computer. The only solution to this is to reset your camera, causing you to lose all your pictures.

Another gripe I have with this camera is that it eats up batteries like you would not believe! Always be sure to keep an eye on your battery level--once your battery bites the dust, your pictures will be lost.

I wouldn't even recommend this as a children's toy, and if you're seriously interested in good pictures, don't even think about it. You get what you pay for--spend a little more on a better camera.

Summary: Just a toy.
Review: Make no mistake about it, this is a toy. It can take some low quality pictures that are suitable for some computer or emailing use, but nothing at all that can be printed and/or enlarged. It is pretty much as useful as any of the 1st generation picture-taking cell phones; in fact, the cell phones had better optics.
Now as a gift to a youngster just starting out taking digital pictures or to have in the glove compartment as a spare, maybe it's okay, but it is not what even a very casual amateur would call a camera.

Summary: Small, okay quality
Review: This camera is tiny, batteries easy to replace, camera is light and so on. u get the picture. So its easy to carry and it does not break easily. I've droped it many times and still works perfectly well. The quality is good, if u are really still and there is enough light. So about 1/4 of the pictures you take are going to be the best the camera can give you. another1/4 will be ok and the other 1/2 u can get rid of. the camera can store 80 pictures. When you get home you should download them and not wait a few days because the battery will run will run out. its worth buying, u can bring it anywhere. the software is the best. You can make cool slideshows and have albums. Really easy to use and install. This camera is definatly worth it.
