Summary: Great Webcam Quality & Digital Camera for the Price
Review: I bought my clicksmart recently for approx. 20.00 used incl/shipping. I figured hey, if the quality was bad then no sweat it was less than 20 bucks.

Imagine my surprise when I plugged it in and saw what great quality the webcam pictures were. I just took my first few digital camera pics using it the other day, in my living room with no light but that from the 2 windows and the pictures came out GREAT!!! I hightly recommend this camera!

PROS:

1. Great web picture quality (have to have lots of light on, but does the best job I've seen with low light so far)
2. Great Price
3. Multi-functional as Webcam or unplug and go Digital Camera
4. Sooo Easy to use!
5. Did a great job capturing my niece's 'puppet show' across the room and making a little mini-video.
6. EASY to USE software program with many easy and handy functions. LIKE MOTION DETECTION RECORD function.

CONS:

1. Logitech download installation software takes a long time if you don't have a CD or you're upgrading the software.
2. TERRIBLE LIVE BROADCAST function because the installed software program wants to hook you up to Spotlife, but that site has closed down and Logitech hasn't gotten a new online partner for live broadcasting, so you're on your own on that one. Plus you have to get software from the website you'll broadcast from, because your own software won't allow anything but that broadcast company that no longer is in business.

As I said this is a great little starter web cam and digital camera (what digital camera can you find for less than $30 ??) for the price. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I've enjoyed mine.

Summary: grainier than quite a large beach
Review: I bought this camera to replace a four-year-old webcam, which had finally died. To the best of my memory, the old one hadn't been particularly expensive either. When it was all plugged in, however, the quality of the pictures was so grainy that it prompted me to get a screwdriver out and fix the old one.

The old webcam rides again, and logitech will be getting this one back.

Summary: This camera works really great, I am absolutely satisfied.
Review: I bought this one online a few days ago, I like absolutely the way it works in taking still picture and video.
It's so easy to set up and run on my computer,it took me just 2 minutes to take a test drive in my room.
It controled automatically exposure, focusing on a subject in
low light and gave me good quality pictures.
Before ordering the item, I took a careful look at the other
people's reviews, they helped me a lot in choosing an expensive,
excellent stuff like this one, now I feel I have made a good decision this time. Finally, here is some feedbags I would like to give you: If you are looking for an affordable web camera with good function, try this one first, after you tried it, you'll love it, a great motion picture maker.

Summary: Cheesy Camera
Review: I bought this several weeks ago, took it out of the box, and straightaway I noticed that it had a manufacturer's defect, so I sent it back, and requested a replacement. Amazon.com sent one out to me right away, which was great, but with a note attached that they had received too many complaints about this product. Camera Limits are (to be brief): no LED View Screen, no flash capability, looks and feels like a disposable "[money] job" I really can't recommend this particular model and it is too bad, because it was a great idea!.. Positives: easy to use, I like the stand it sits on, but that's about it. "Caveat Emptor". The best thing about this whole experience: Amazon.com!! They were really cool in my opinion to send me a note about this product, advising me about all the other customer complaints. Good Job Amazon!

Summary: For what I expected, it's fine.
Review: I expected a decent webcam with quality and I got it. It might be a bit too expensive for what it is, but being that I have gone through millions of webcams with my website [lovelyweapon.com, my webcam shows its quality], I'm rather picky about them and this one is fine. The quality is excellent during the day, and with proper lighting at night it works even better [remember guys, no camera works without proper lighting].

It's not the beeest, but it's what I expected and I'm doing perfectly fine with it. If you don't like it you can always return it.

Summary: Just the Thing for Kids
Review: I got this for my son for his ninth birthday....

Anyway, as a kids camera it is wonderful. Kids love to take pictures but you can't afford to keep them in film and processing for what they want. If you buy them a film camera it feels like you are forever fighting them: "No honey, no one will want to see a picture of our mailbox." You are too worried about wasting film and processing.

With this approach you can turn them loose and you don't have to worry about anything. If they do take a picture they want to share, they can email it, and that's superior to what they can do with a film camera anyway.

I gave my son this as a point and shoot camera and purchased rechargeable batteries for him. He can click away to his heart's content and it doesn't cost me a thing.

The pictures upload easily to the PC where he can view them. It's also easy to email them to anyone.
It even takes small video clips you can email to others.

It also comes with some neat software. If you hook it to your PC it supports time lapse photography -- you know the pictures spread over hours or days that show you plants growing. Or if you want to produce your own claymation epic, there is a neat stop action photography option.

Here is the fine print on this camera. As a digital camera, it only records 320 x 240. It has no flash and its fixed focus.
Truthfully, the quality is not very good. Unless you hold it still (tough for him) it's easy to get blurry pics. Even when pics are clear they are at best web quality it's not anything you would want to make prints from. So this is definitely NOT adult quality. However, for kids the goal is to get a recognizable picture, not a piece of art. As a cheap way to let him take lots of pictures it is wonderful.

In summary, this is NOT a digital camera for adults, but for kids it's much better than any film camera you can buy.

Summary: This camera
Review: I had a friend help me buy this camera and I kind of liked it but it really doesn't show anything in the dark, even at home sometimes. When you bring it outside, the maximum amount of pictures is 40, which isnt alot so sometimes it's just fun to play with and take pictures to send to friends. And, the resolution isn't that good. But it's still fun so YEa.....

Summary: nice little camera
Review: I have to say, this camera is very easy to use, i had it set up in no time. The picture quality leaves some room for improvement. You have to be very still and make sure you have just the right lighting to take a picture. Othewise you get a blurry picture. For the money its a good deal, but if your looking for high quality you might consider another route.

Summary: A Good Webcam
Review: I just recieved this product in the mail last week and started testing it out. The camera is very affordable in comparison to pretty much any other digital camera out there and it has more than one function, which is a very nice feature. I will review the two main features of the camera:

Webcam: Here is the camera's strong point. As a webcam, this camera works very well and seems to really hit the target for all of your webcam needs. It has a simple to use interface and does the job.

Digital camera: Here is the camera's weak point. The resolution on the digital pictures is not good at all. Very low quality, and if you try and take pictures in low light, you might as well not even bother. The camera has no flash so that is a low point as well.

Some other tidbits about the camera: The software that the camera comes with is very childish and unprofessional looking. Now, I'm not saying that you shouldn't buy the camera because of this, but it's something to think about. Also, the camera turns itself off after 30 seconds of being "on" This feature saves battery power but can be EXTREMELY annoying in certain situations. (Like if you are trying to line up a picture or something just right, then boom! the camera turns off)

If you're in the market for a webcam and that's your main motivation to buy this product then I recomend it, However, if you're buying this product mainly for it's digital camera function I suggest you look elsewhere. A good webcam with a bonus feature of being able to take low resolution dig. pictures. That's the jist of it.

Summary: cute little web cam with just above avarage quality
Review: I like this web cam (and a digital cam) because it was what I needed. Nothing too [spendy] and complicated. I didnt need the greatest picture quality. Just something that would help me to video chat with my friends over the internet and send them some digital pictures. First of all to use this camera you need alot of light..You wont be able to use it in dark..Your face and where the camera stands must be lighted really good. If you do that quality is really nice for it. However sometimes it can be frustrating if you dont have a portable lamp or a portable computer. Otherwise it is really good. It is good for you if your reasons are same with me and if you have pretty good lighting. Digital cam is ok. You can unplug the web cam and use it as camera but light thing has to be the same here. Don't expect digital camera quality. It is easy to use and quick but quality is avarage.
