Summary: good thing it was free ...
Review: ...the 30 second power saving feature wasn't too bad. the main two problems i had was the fact that there is no flash ... and that the accompanying software does not work right. the software for the camera was made so that when you plug the camera into the usb port, it automatically loads the program and uploads the pictures. this is, i might add, the ONLY way to upload the pictures from the camera. well, about a week after getting the camera installed, the auto load feature stopped working. i uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but (again) after a week or so, it stopped working...

Summary: Kids Love the Logitech 310
Review: 1. The Logitech 310 came as a freebie when I puchased a Linksys router.

2. The software is very easy to set up and use, and my kids have played with it a lot. Stop action animation, make-believe evening news, etc.

3. We have other digital cameras (Nikon, Intel) but this one is by far the easiest to use, with good software.

4. Thank you!

Summary: Good image quality , nice replacement for webcam
Review: A nice webcam with additional ability to take pictures too. Nothing to complain about. It has nice webcam features, good software driver support for my win2k, worked out of box and provided good image quality on my yahoo messenger. The accompanied software was better than average. (to capture video and pictures)
Cons, the camera stand could have been better. Not very convenient to change position.

Summary: Logitech Cute!
Review: A trustworthy brand, I am not uncomfortable when it comes to purchasing items connected to the computer world as soon as I see it's a Logitech item. It has proven itself to be time and time again a more trustworthy company that provides really good items!

The camera is solidly built (dropped it a few times for good measure!) and with it's cute unique little design and small enough to carry everywhere, it's more a danger of being stolen! I like the long cable that comes with it, enables for more flexibility when it happens that I want to shift my webcam somewhere where my fiance can watch me move around the room. Great for outdoor use under adequate lighting! The only few things about the features that I didn't like were the inability to display the pictures taken within the digital screen at the back. I also wished there could have been just a simple flash that could be used to brighten pictures. For the price, I would say this is a good deal for those who just want ONE item that can do EVERYTHING from be a pretty solid webcam to an outdoor tote digital camera. Well, maybe not clean your bathrooms for you, but with Logitech, anything's possible.

Summary: It's Okay just for FUN ^_^
Review: At first I was having a hard time installing the software that Logitech provided. Turns out that the cd is out-of-date (my OS is Windows XP Prof.). So if you're having troubles with the webcam actually showing up on the monitor (mine was pitched black >_<) I recommend downloading their latest software from their site! ^_~

You need good lighting! Taking webcam pictures while the sun is up is highly recommended. Make sure your blinds/drapes are open in your computer room. Pictures taken when it's dark outside and using your ceiling's light may not look great compared to the ones taken in the day (at least from my experience). It looks more 'pixelly' during the night compared to the day.

I find taking pictures on a somewhat cloudy day is the best results! If it's too sunny the face looks too contrasted and makes your face (especially the nose) pale and blurred out. Of course, you can edit the setting but for the usage as a 'digital camera' you won't be able to tell the lighting quality.

The webcam pictures aren't exactly great. They say you can take pictures with a resolution of 640x480 but the quality isn't that great at all (2/5). Lots of pixels and your face is really blurry even if you freeze and hold your pose for those 3 seconds to *click* =P. Personally, I only use the lowest resolution 160x120, because it takes the best quality out of the three resolution options.

If you're thinking of using this as a digital camera *snicker* I wouldn't recommend you buying a Logitech's digital + web camera. =P They do not have the LCD preview in the back so you don't know what you're taking with a *very* steady hand. Even with a steady hand the pictures end up blurry!

If I could return this back I would and pay the difference for the ClickSmart 510 webcam because that one contains a flash so the pictures will at least turn out with some good lighting. For this model, you really have to check your lighting and make sure you freeze as long as possible! lol.

I guess the only pros. about this webcam is that it's small, light, and cool-looking! ^_^;; However, this may be a con for someone with large hands as it may not be as comfortable as an actual decent digital camera! =P

It's great for playing around kids, tweens, and teens but for adults umm why not get an actual webcam and a decent digital camera. Don't cut corners because even though you are saving quite a lot of money, the quality of the pictures are what you pay for. Best of luck in making the decision for buying a webcam/digicam. ^_^

Summary: What a piece of ...!
Review: DO NOT get this camera if you are looking for a webcam. OH GOD! This is the LOWEST quality picture I've EVER SEEN on a webcam (and I've owned 5 in 3 years). In fact, don't get this camera if you want to take pictures any where but outside in daylight. And even then, the images are extremely blurry.

Two thumbs DOWN!

Summary: Key word value
Review: First off this in no replacement for a REAL digital camera period. Great replacement however for an old web cam. What this camera does well is simple photos and web cam. This little guy is so easy to use. The draw back photo wise is it doesnt deal with lighting conditions very well and you need to be right up on your subject in order not have them appear "a million miles away" Overall with its webcam functions and mobility this is a good value none the less.

Summary: Simple but fun
Review: Here's a simple, inexpensive digital camera that you can carry all day and take low-res pictures and capture brief low-res videos. You don't have to worry about breaking anything. This Chinese-manufactured cute little thing is all plastic but quite solid. It also works very well as a webcam -- no surprise since Logitech has been building these for a long time.

Would have been better if the battery life were a bit better and the resolution a bit higher. But then again, at this price, this is a no-brainer toy to own.

Summary: very bad quality
Review: Hi friends,

i purchased this camera from amazon about a month ago. i was planning to use it as webcam, but the picture quality is terrible. initially i thought that it must be a problem of some settings....but after struggling for more then 2 weeks its now lying in my junk box.
