Description:
The JVC GR-DVM80U packs a bunch of features into a very tiny package. Many of the features usually found in higher-end electronics are included in this small, easy-to-carry device. The 680,000 pixel CCD captures the 520 lines of resolution standard to digital video, the highest resolution of any video format. There is also a built-in digital still camera that captures images in pin-up and full snapshot modes. The GR-DVM80U comes with many multimedia interfacing capabilities: IEEE 1394, PC terminal, and J-terminal. The standard IEEE 1394 DV interface transfers your footage to any DV-ready computer, while the PC terminal allows you to transfer still images to a PC via an RS232 connection cable. J-terminal uses the docking station to fully integrate a JVC VCR, camcorder, and PC to create a computer-controlled video playback and image capture system. The necessary software to control the station is supplied in the box. Also included are an AC power adapter/charger, rechargeable lithium-ion battery, multibrand remote control, CD-ROM software for photo editing, docking station, AV cable and PC cable.
