Rating: Summary: not the best Review: alright well i bought this guy last year, when it was $180! ya im an idiot-- well this was hte time where we didnt know much about mp3 players because apple just introduced the first one and only 10gb ipod. So i looked at this samsung yepp because it wasnt as expensive as the ipod. I really liked it and it was cute and i loved how it looked. It has a great back lit screen and it is easy to use. It was not worth the money! it is now, since its $70! Ugh i guess i should have waited. Anyways it was not worth $180 because it holds 5 cds. The battery power isnt very good. Another thing is the program it uses. The samsung yepp mp3 program is extremely confusing and i am a computer wiz and i still dont understand it. Anyways its a great little toy. Its mainly for exersizing, when you go out and jog and stuff like that. If i had waited, i probably wouldnt get it today, since the other mp3 players that were $400, decreased to the price i bought this one. Ya its great, but you should wait and look out for others that hold more and that are better quality.
Rating: Summary: A really bad gift... Review: I got this player as a gift in February. It didn't work when I got it. It took 2 months for Samsung to return my messages and finally they let me send it back. I got it back in worse shape then I got it in the first place! When I first got it, my computer at least recognized there was a detachable device. Now my computer can't detect it at all. Thier customer service is unresponsive so I finally was able to send it back for a refund. Not worth the money at all.

Rating: Summary: very pleased with this product Review: I've owned my Yepp for over 6 months and have had no problem whatsoever. Previous user reports helped me to choose the Yepp, as I was looking for a unit that was very compact and could still produce quality sound. The included earbuds will want to be replaced, as is with most portable units these days, but the sound is very good with replacements. The controls are very easy to use, and include playback and shuffle modes, 8 different EQ settings and bass boost, and even has settings to adjust scroll speed, contrast, and backlight timer for maximum battery life, which varies greatly on the volume setting. I've gotten over 6 hours on the one AAA battery the unit uses. It comes with a rechargable, but I've used Duracell's since that ran out of juice. The backlight is bright and easy to read with the artist and song title scrolled out for you. The unit comes with a belt clip (looks like a pager when worn) or you can wear it around your neck with the included lanyard. This is a great unit for exercising, as I wear mine hiking, biking, doing chores... anything you can think of. Great little unit.
Rating: Summary: Cute, but Not Cuddly Review: it's easy and convenient, and the sound is not too bad. i've dropped this thing many times and it still works! it's also very cute looking! would recommend it a thousand times
Rating: Summary: YP-N3OS Review: The player is great and works perfectly. But the only problem is the software that comes with the player. It was just extremely confusing and i ended up not using it at all. I use the 'copy to cd or device' option on windows media player with the USB port being where the music is being sent and it works so much better. So basically trash the little red disk and do it the easy way. Otherwise the player is great and has crystal clear recordings. Apparently the memory is upgradeable but the manual only states that it's possible, not how to upgrade the unit.
Rating: Summary: The solution for the Cute but not Cuddly Review: The reason it could not work on Windows 98 because you have the first edition and you will might need to upgrade to Windows 98 SE or SP1. You might be one of those people who don't update or upgrade their computer. To do that, go to Windows Update in the Start Menu, but to do this, you gotta go online. After you connect online, go to Windows Update, then after It checks for updates, on the left, go to one of the selections and find Windows 98 SE. Then deselect the others except for Windows 98 SE and go to review and update. I can't wait till my birthday or christmas to get this MP3 Player.
Rating: Summary: Samsung "yepp" 64MB Digital Audio Player Review: This is the best MP3 player if you like small. Great sound and it does not skip one bit. Downloading the music onto this player is so easy. It comes with all of the accessories. It is worth more than I payed....I recommend buying it!
