Summary: VERY GOOD!
Review: This MP3 Player has FM, and it's smaller than my Walkman!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Bundled software converts WMA to MP3
Review: I noticed one reviewer's concerns that the unit does not handle the WMA format. I have the CW300 which is very similar except for its longer battery life. Like the CW200, this comes bundled with JetShell, which converts WMA files to MP3s. So, while perhaps not as convenient for playing WMAs, there is a way to do it (by converting to MP3s before loading the files to the player). Now, if the download service requires that you load the WMAs directly onto the player then you would be out of luck.

I'm rating the product 5 stars based upon the similar CW300.

Summary: Hate to bring bad news...
Review: ...but after reading all of the glowing reviews, I decided to purchase the 256 MB version. I received it within 4 days, and the software was super easy to install and begin using. I basically purchased the player to use while I run, and after 3 days of use, I absolutely loved the thing. The sound is amazing, it is incredibly small, the memory is way more than I need, and it is surprisingly easy to use. Even the radio reception is much better than my old walkman, and I didn't even plan on using the radio too much.

Well, maybe I bought the lemon, but on day 4, the thing stopped working. It still powered up, but the player had dumped all its memory, and I couldn't upload any songs...it didn't recognize its flash memory. So, I had to mail the product back, and the company would either fix it or replace it. Customer service was very helpful, although I wouldn't figure I'd have to have it serviced within a few days. I'll update my review after the repair/replace process is complete.

***UPDATE: due to the shenanigans discussed above, I don't think I can honestly give this a 5-star rating, but it's the only thing holding me back. I had to pay a few bucks to ship the product back, and within 3 days, I had the player fully repaired, and back in action. I run several miles at a time, at least 3 times a week, and have been using it for 8 months now....and it is phenomenal!!! As with most headphones, if you use this to run or excercise with, chances are you might have to shop around until you find phones that are compatible with your ears (to keep them from falling out when you move your head). If I have any other problems, I'll promptly give an update, but as of now, I am very satisfied and have no regrets.

Summary: almost a year with it
Review: I've been very happy with this product, BUT recently my presets are lost every time I poweroff. At first i thought it was because the battery was running low, but now since changing it for a fully charged battery, it still returns to no presets level when i turn the unit off. This is becoming very annoying having to set the 5 stations i like to flip through during my workout at the gym. Haven't checked out the manual to see what it says. This might have started when I accidentally erased all the MP3 files on it, but still, i don't see why it would matter with the presets. Just something to be leary of before you buy.

Summary: THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!
Review: I am very pleased.

i looked at every flash memory mp3 player on amazon[.com]. the iaudio had the best reviews.i went to the jet audio website and saw that they had a 256 mb player. this is not readily apparent on amazon[.com]. i went back to amazon[.com]; looked again and found the 256.
i tried to find reviews for the CW200 at other websites. nonexistent. i tried to see if other retailers were selling the item. nobody. i wanted to see it before i purchased it because it sounded too good to be true. went to jandr. didn't have it. ok. i took the plunge and bought it. thank god.

converting cds to mp3 format is so simple.downloading to the iaudio using the jet shell software is a breeze. i audio has already set it up so you can compartmentalize your music into 4 folders and one for voice recordings.

cannot emphasize enough how small it is. easy to hold and control the functions with one hand.

i have never been compelled to rate an item before but i want people to know what a great product this is.

Summary: Excellent quality, FATAL FLAW
Review: Any music that you purchase online is sold in secure WMA format, this format will not be playable on this device as it will require DRM compatible software which it does not have.If you plan on downloading music to listen to from the internet it will not download to your I-Audio.

Review: I had no problem installing the software on my XP machine, and have never found it interfere with other USB devices, or any devices at all. It's very easy software to use, and moving files back and forth from the mp3 player and the computer is easy and fast.

I use rechargable batteries, and seem to get about 8-10 hours of use with them.

The FM reception on this thing about as good as on my home stereo.

The sound quality it pumps out is nice anc clear. It does not have extended bass, but then, no needs really needs that anyway unless they're, well, I won't say, but a normal person who listens to music to hear the music and not just to have their brain hit with extra bass will find this perfectly acceptable. If high volume bass is essential to your musical pleasure, you will want something else.

This unit is VERY light, and small, so it fits in pckets perfectly. The clip on the slipcase is also rugged and strong, and even when clipped to just a fold of cloth, it will hold tightly.

I've carried mine all over NYC, used on subways and trains and walking the sidewalks, etc. I've had no problems with it at all, and am a very, very happy customer.

I did a lot of research on amazon, and this one seemed to have the best overall ratings for the memory size and price I wanted. Amazon reviewers did not let me down on this. It is a wonderful mp3 player, and the added bonus of FM recetion and voice recording is an extra plus.

5 stars and more. Highly recommended.

Summary: Watch those file types!
Review: I've had this thing now since Christmas, now Feb 8th, and I've used it everyday to workout whether it be running, riding a bike or weightlifting, as well as using it for regular use. I've had to change the battery only once in the entire time.

The software worked great for me. It rips cds to mp3 and the interface is intuitive and easy to understand. I even taught my sister how to do it!

I've had no problems with it at all. The headphones have never even fallen out of my ears when running like others have said. I have a USB flash drive and USB mouse as well and this has not interfered with them in any way.
