Summary: FL100, an Excellent choice !!
Review: I was on the market or a mp3 player. I did a lot of reading and asking around. This little baby is very easy to use. The sound is great. Even with the headphones that came with it. I am not planning on changing the headphones for a diff pair anytime soon. The radio works very well. It works well in the car, at home, or when I go out for a jog. The stations come in very well wherever I go. No complaints there. And from talking to others and reading reviews you will find some players dont have radios. And some players that do, dont work all that well when you use the radio. This radio works pretty well. I like the equilizer that this player has as well. The eq has 7 presets you can use or you can make your own. My operating system is windows xp professional. No problems with the software that came with the player. But since I have so many cds loaded on my desktop already... I just use the media player I have that came with my pc (it is made by microsoft). The media player by microsoft that I have works very well with the player. In a matter of minutes I was loading the player up with music. I absolutely love this player and cant say enough good. It comes with a little holder and an armband. I use both when jogging. And when I am out and about I keep the player in my pocket in the holder. No problems at all. I can still change up songs or adjust the volume. Even when it is in the holder. If you are on the market for a nice little player. This is the one. The only complain you will have will be that the bottons may be a little too small and the read-out display is a little small to read. But hey, the player is very small. And the pluses on this way outweigh the negatives.

Summary: Very durable!
Review: I've enjoyed using this wonderful MP3 player while working out and sometimes when I have to walk somewhwere. It's worked very well for me, but the other day it impressed the hell out of me. I had it in my pocket while I was riding my bike, and I had a little crash. I landed right on top of the thing, and it gave me a big bruise on my leg... and I don't bruise easily. The MP3 player survived and still works perfectly, though the leather case took some damage and there are some cracks in the face. I'm very impressed with the fact that this little thing survived the crash and I'd reccomend this player to any who's looking for one!

Summary: After 6 months of use I am still happy with this player
Review: Pros: Small, functional, FM radio, SD expansion, voice recorder that actually works, AAA battery, looks cool
Cons: PC Software is marginal at best, ear buds are "ok", not a USB mass storage device, SD formatting is funky

Some of the cons can be fixed with firmware updates (I am ever hopeful). In regards to folks having to turn the volume up so high - I don't think I have ever turned mine up above 24-25 and I take airline flights on a regular basis. Perhaps they need to get their hearing checked? My wife tried the player out and the ear buds are to large for her ears and were therefore very uncomfortable.
Some of the things I love about this player is the fact that I can go running with it, expand the memory without buying a new player (huge - why the other manufactures do not get this I do not know!), and replace the battery at the airport by buying a new AAA battery. I consider the last item a huge issue for folks who don't want to carry electic vampire taps with them everywhere and hope to find a victim (plug) in the airport that isn't being sucked dry.
I must admit I pine for it to also be a USB storage device so I could move files onto the players flash and SD but they are trying to honor some of the digital rights management stuff and therefore it precludes it from doing that function. That is a shame and I wish they would enable this feature and realize it is the end users obligation to conform to copyright laws - not theirs.
HTH.

Summary: Digitalway MPIO Fl100 128MB
Review: It's good, doesn't skip, small and cool-looking, except when it gets fingerprints on it. The price is a little high, and the screen doesn't light up all the time as shown in most pictures. It only lights when you hit a button.

Summary: My first, and hoppfully my last
Review: I love it! F.M., MP3, and voice recording! I was hesitant at first but after all the good reviews I decided to give it a try. Right out of the box everything worked great. The instructions ARE poorly translated and, yes, at times unintentionally comical, but that's the worst thing about this device! I've been using it for about 4 months now and if it quit tomorrow, I'd probably buy another one. It's easy to use; the software works with XP and Win Me with no problems. It comes with a great case and decent ear phones (which do get uncomfortable after a while) but they work. I couldn't be happier with my first MP3 player. mpio did a great job with this product! ... I do recommend spending the extra $$ and getting a 256 SD card for extra memory.

Summary: Outstanding
Review: My only regret is that I didn't get the one with 256MB of internal memory. Otherwise this player takes a beating and keeps going. I fill it up with music to listen to at work and it works like a charm.

Review: Amazing little gadget!
Im a gadget fiend and this fits the bill. Sounds great 2
After checking out all the other flash players this cant be beat (for now).
Dont use the files on the install CD download the new ones from Mpio.
As with everthing these days those files were obsolete the day it was made!!
It DOES play secure wma files ( Ive played about 50 from 2 different sources) download the upgrades to firmware and software and the plugin for WMPlayer and download to your player from Windows media player without much hassle.

Summary: reasonable, but obscure
Review: to be frank, the player is nothing but a copernicus fashionable player. It is sleek yet vintage. Though the controls are easy to use, they are metal and could be better. ALso the screen is not the clearest. The fm receiver is horrible, but applicable. It can not have many songs, but they are clear.

Summary: Poor Documentation, Low Quality, Unprofessional Support
Review: I was originally quite excited about this product. It's one of a few MP3 players to blend features such as expandable memory and an FM radio into a compact design. I thought it would be ideal for trips to the gym. I was sorely disappointed.

Documentation that arrived with the device was poorly translated to the point of being comical. The expandable memory slot did not function properly, and when I returned it to Digitalway, they never returned the repaired device despite repeated attempts to contact them.

Save yourself the torture. Don't purchase any Digitalway MPIO products. There are plenty of durable, high-quality devices that provide the same functionality. Try the Rio Cali or Rio S35S Sport; or get one of the iRiver players if you don't need the expandable memory.

Summary: Great little player
Review: I just got my FL100 at Best Buy for 129.00 and I love it.

I was shopping between an iriver, iaudio, and Rio S35s when a friend told me about this product. It combines the great radio and fm record function of the iriver, the expandability of the Rio and the great looks of the iaudio.

The Great

The setup with WinXP was flawless. Transfering files was just drag and drop and the folder system is a must have.

The screen is awesome with the amount of information it displays.
The EQ is easy to set up and customize
FM reception was decent. I set up 20 presets and got 19 flawlessly in the gym and 10 at work (I work in a secure building so radio reception only works for the most powerful signals)

The OK
FM is Mono but thats not that big of a deal
Headphones were just ok
Armband and case are ok but a pain to strap on

The Bad
only negative is this thing eats batteries like you wouldn't believe.. get rechargables
