Summary: This is my first MP3, and what a good start it is.
Review: I shopped around Amazon.com for a few days and the reviews were all very helpful. The price, the size and the durability of this little device and the sound quality are all quite good. The small palm-size player seems rather awkward at first and the plastic backing seems a little [weak] but when you think about the light weight, it turns out to be a plus. The plastic holding case does fit it perfectly, there is even an opening to plug in the headphones. (But I wonder how long can this case really last.) PRO:
-The sound quality is the amazing part.
-The price
-The "lock" button allows you to lock the settings/volume so as not to interrupt play.
-You can expand to higher memory cards. Lexar has a 128mb memory card for a reasonable price.
-You can download from CD's, the web, and from Windows Media playlists, etc. Very cool.
-headphones are ok, but I prefer my Aiwa earbuds.
Con:
-The "mode" feature, which allows you set the player to replay all or random, is limited to just these 2 options. If you want to replay a song or a specific song, you have to scroll through your songs.
-The musicmatch software provided does not run with XP. You are given instructions to download from their website. Which I attempted 3 times. Once the installation is complete, you can navigate your way around ok, this is not that bad.
-Goes through batteries fairly quickly.

Summary: the first mp3 player I didn't have to return!
Review: I've had lousy luck with mp3 players - first was a Samsung mini-yepp which kept crashing my system, then an irock that worked well but couldn't crank out enough volume (a problem I've found with Sony minidisc players as well). This player not only has fantastic sound, but thankfully it uses 2 AAA batteries - it's still pleanty light but the sound is blissful - I haven't had to use any equalizer settings beyond the default. The Musicmatch software is also better than Rio's (the one the other players use). There are a couple of quibbles (I wanted a bit more memory so I bought a multimedia card - it worked fine on first try but you have to add songs separately to each; the display doesn't tell you the track information) but they are small - I'm truly delighted with this unit!

Review: this one is perfect. its very user friendly. within 1 hr i had music on it.. the 64 is good too.. i have like an hr and a half worth of music on there.

Summary: Almost perfect.
Review: Although this MP3 is great for the price and size. The only way to transfer songs to and from the device is using Musicmatch software(its included). I think this is a giant minus. I have had other MP3 players and all you have to do is plu in the USB and it gets recognized as a drive. Not with this device , the interface for the transferring is really lacking. It only gives you the option to view songs by name.(as opposed to created by, size, etc) Also the lock/unlock button came off the unit on mine, this happened after several weeks, not sure if it was my fault. It took quite a beating at the Gym. Hope this helps.

Summary: Neat little player
Review: I was planning on buying the 32MB version of the kazoo when I stumbled on this little guy. For an extra 20 bucks you get 32MB more which is well worth it. Good Points: First the thing is small. I barely notice it while jogging or mountain biking. Second it holds roughly an hour of music at 128 Kps. I've gotten between 55 minutes to 65 minutes out of it. This of course is just the built-in memory, with another 64MB MMC card, you'll get another good soild hour of music. The sound quality is excellent, something I worried about with it being this small. It will play as loud as you need it to Not So Good Points : The headphones are clumsy and ill-fitting, I had about a billion other phones lying around so this really wasn't an issue with me. The carrying case that comes with it is clear plastic and cheap. Less quality than the plastic of the package it came in. I expect it won't last that long. The AAA batteries didn't last long (about 5 hours total) I'm not sure if was because the thing drains tons of power, or if it was just the cheap no-name batteries that it came with. But with all this said, If I happen to fall off my mountain bike and crush it. (something that isn't covered by warranty) I would most certainly replace it with another one. Until RCA builds a 128MB kazoo, this is your best bet in the ultra portable MP3 players

Summary: Great for exercising!!
Review: This little unit is perfect if you just want an MP3 Player to work out with. I walk and rollerblade a lot. It comes with a wristband, neck strap and belt clip, so your accessories are there. The headphones that were included I didn't care for, but I inevitably buy my own anyway. I bought a 64 MB multimedia card to get 2 hours of music, and I'm set. I didn't need the voice recorder feature, and I sure as heck didn't want CDs or minidiscs. This unit is perfect for what I use it for.

Summary: Awesome sound/so-so software on PC
Review: The player itself is a nifty little thing. Very comfortable. The sound is very good and the headphones are ergonomic. What was not so hot is the musicmatch software that came with it. You first need to download the plugin to the musicmatch in order to download the music to your mp3 player. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to ppl.

Summary: Great for Joggers!
Review: The RCA RD1060 64 MB Kazoo Digital Audio Player is not only small, it is very light, a sassy shade of metallic red, and a more than overdue upgrade from my 1989 Sony Walkman. Although there are mp3 players that have a lot more memory etc., I chose this one because of its small size and minimal weight, which makes it an excellent jogging companion. The Musicmatch software for downloading music onto the player is a bit clunky, but is easy to use and install (even without reading the user manual). I can put about 9-12 songs on the player when I download using the highest sound quality---about 35 minutes of music. I like having the option to add a memory card; it was a key factor in my decision to purchase the player. A 128 MB memory card would increase the memory to 192 MB, which will be perfect for when I can actually jog for longer than 35 minutes... The sound quality is excellent as soon as you get a new pair of headphones. The ones provided are not adjustable and terribly awkward. I guess RCA assumes we all possess the same size head. I would definitely recommend this mp3 player for those in the market for a simple-to-operate, small mp3 player with great sound and decent features.

Summary: If you dont want it all this is a great unit for price
Review: This player is awsome if you jsut want something small and simple to work out in. I use it to run all the time, it straps to your wrist with the enclosed strap. Not a lot of features, but it gets the job done. Getting it to work with Windows XP was a bit of a nightmare, but I somehow got it to work, you may want to consider another player if you will be using XP.

Review: I finally went out and bought a RCA Kazoo 1060B. It was my first mp3 player, and so I was skeptical of the sound quality and transfering songs. But to my surprise, the software was easy to load. Loading the drivers for the USB, then MusicMatch.Then adding songs to the playlist and sending files to device kazoo. It was easy and Quick! The sound quality of this little unit was very impressive compared to my other CD portable. I really like the size and
easy read out buttons. I was reading some articles that this unit may also beable
to read mp3pro's. So I went to Imesh, downloaded some mp3pro extentions. and then downloaded it to my kazoo. It works great. I'm really happy, now that this unit
can hold double the amount of songs with this new mp3pro
files. NOw I just need to figure out where to get a software
that converts my mp3's to mp3pro's and I'm in business. If anyone got a good source for this software, let me know. Thanks, A New Happy Kazoo customer!
