Rating: Summary: Fantastic for the $$ Review: Just got this today, my first MP3 player. For the money ($ 59.00) you can't beat it. Got it up & running within 5 mins. I've seen complaints about the software. To me it was a breeze but maybe that's because I work in the software business. My one and only complaint would be the headphones, but again, as a total package this player is superb. Now go and get one.
Rating: Summary: Go with an iPod instead Review: My father made the mistake of purchasing this item and I sincerely wish he never had. The interface is not user firendly, the instructions are confusing, the manual was near to worthless and bang for buck it's a ... The controls are so tiny you have to pretty much have the hands of a hobbit to use it. About the only good things you can say about it is that it's very lightweight (especially compared with the iPod which is a little heavy) and that it records (if that's what you're looking for). Although I was able to figure out how to use it, I would certainly not recommend this to anyone for whom computers are in any way confusing. ...
Rating: Summary: Good harware, very bad software Review: The program locks after a small number of songs have been put into the database requiring an on-line upgrade at a cost. No where is this documented and it really bugs me.The program its self is a pain to use and for such a simple process makes it cumbersome.
Rating: Summary: Love it! Review: This is a great little device! I use it at the gym, and hardly notice it's there (weight-wise!). The volume is more than loud enough to drown out the music at the gym. Here are my recommendations: * It's worth spending a little more to get the 128MB version. * Download the Explorer from the Samsung site for uploading new music, and your favorite MP3 producing software (such as MusicMatch Jukebox).

Rating: Summary: No Technical glitches and no poblem with the file manager ! Review: This little thing is truly amazing ! As I read through all the reviews of users having problems, I can not help but wonder, if they might lack a bit of technical expertise. First of all, I have used this player on both, a Mac and a PC and if you handle the unit as you should any USB device, there are no hang-ups or any other technical issues. Never just disconnect a USB device from your PC or Mac or you are just asking for trouble (and that has nothing to do with the Yepp). Samsung has released a software addition for iTunes and if you are using a Mac, this unit fully integrates into this application and makes managing your mp3s on the Yepp a breeze ! The sound quality is outstanding and the unit is so small and light, it is no problem taking it with you anywhere you want to go. The perfect little companion if you are a runner or if you just want to take some of your music with you.
Rating: Summary: Exelent, well made durable mp3 player Review: This MP3 player is both good and bad. There aren't many bad features, like that it doesn't have an expansion port and only 64 mb (about 70 minuets of music/voice) memory. other than that it is very well made. With one AAA battery for almost four hours of play time, the total size is that of two AA batteries lined up next to each other. This player is also Verrrrrrrrrrrrry durable. I droped this out of my car going 40 and it didn't break, nor leave a scratch! I also drop it when I walk around in the snow, and i doesn't effet it in any way. It also has other features, like changing the start up screne, backlight for in the dark (very helpful), and it can show the battery time left, music time left, amount of memory left, and the time. Up to three of these can be shown at a time.
Rating: Summary: Best mp3 player ever Review: This player absolutely rocks. It has the sleekest and the smallest design of them all. I did not find any software bug issues with this player. Its features and quality are excellent as well. I totally recommend it!
Rating: Summary: customizable, and everything in a small package Review: this player is the best. it has the right size, the newer ones that are about the size of a quarter are too hard to operate, unless if you have baby fingers. the uploading is fast(2 minutes for 22 songs). you can also created your own logo to show on the display screen. the headphones are terrible, one earbud has about a foot more of cord on it that the other, but they look cool. the voice recording is easy and useful for someone who forgets where they park. one good feature is that you can delete files that you don't like instantly on the player itself. the track recognition is great, it shows what you have on your computer. it also tells you how many mb you have left. shuffle, repeat, etc. are all included. all in all, this player is very practical and customizable
