Summary: Look no further if you problems with dropping your cd player
Review: First of all, I'm not gonna bother writing about all of the excellent features this cd player has, as there are several well written reviews on them already and it would be pointless for me to start.

But.... the one thing I would like to add is that I have always had a problem with dropping and breaking my cd players. Well, about two weeks after I got this, I was running, the thing fell out of my sweatshirt pocket and was smashed onto the ground hard, it bounced several times, and it left some permanent marks and big scrapes on it. I thought that was it.... I just bought a ... cd player and its dead.

BUT NO!!!!! The friggin' thing is still working like new! Its even survived several smaller drops. But put it this way... that fall it took was about as bad as it could get. If this thing could survive that, then it can survive anything.

So if you you want a VERY durable CD player.... look no further!

Summary: This CD player will become your best friend
Review: First of all, the person before me said it. This CD PLAYER DOESNT DIE! I have dropped the thing countless times- and I mean BAD falls onto concrete and tile and such, and each time it made me shudder; but it still works perfectly!! I cant see how you can engineer something to be that drop-proof. Anyways moving on. The sound is of course nothing below excellent (provided you arent using the bundled headphones), and it should be for a Sony product. It's very easy to browse your MP3-CD if you use those, which I do. You can put all your MP3's in separate folders and you can navigate each folder with the touch of a button. It's really nice. Also, it can recharge its own batteries (if you bought rechargables) which is a big plus. The only thing that might get on your nerves is that stupid beep when you switch a track or pause or press any other playback related button; and its an annoying task to shut it off. It's a small price to pay though obviously. Bottom line: I love this CD player and I know you will too. Excellent sound quality like I said before, and best of all you cant kill this CD player (if you try then you are one sick BLEEP). There are millions of CD players to choose from, but if you are considering this one, it will never dissapoint or let you down!

Summary: OH MY GOD, WHAT A CD PLAYER!!!!
Review: I bought this CD walkman before the summer of 2002. AND Oh my god, the player is sssooo good. The sound quality is AMAZING!!! Like a stereo going in your head. The player is sssooo strong. I drop maybe 100 times and it played like new. Though I droped it a lot, NO CRACK!!! I never used the MP3 but I think it could have been cool. It was sssoooo easy to use, I never even read the instruction book. ALSO, with the batteries, you can use the player for like a month. LAST, the style looks AWESOME!!!! I recently lost it and was soo bumed out. But I bought a newer version which almost looks exactly like it but better. The new CD player that I bought is Sony D-NE710 ATRAC3/MP3 CD Walkman Portable Disc Player.

Review: I have a large collection of Old Time Radio CD's in mp3 format. Most episodes run 30 minutes. This player breaks the episodes into 3 minutes chunks and pauses for about 3 seconds mid-episode, -sentance, -word, etc. It also does not display the ID tags for these broken files. This one is going back. I have not had a chance to evaluate the anti-skip protection, but the interruptions mid-file are too annoying.

Summary: Good player, but not perfect.
Review: I have owned this player for several months, and use it quite a lot. I use rechargable Nickle Metal Hydride batteries, listen to MP3 files on a CD-RW disc.

Pros:
Long battery life
CD-RW MP3 playback
Digital Controls, including volume
Has never skipped
Text Display
Adjustable Bass levels
Buttons to skip folders
Random Play

Cons:
Hard to use controls if you can't see them (flat buttons)
Can't get remote for US model (and no backlit display)
Can't fast forward through part of MP3 song like a WAV
No belt clip-only wrist strap

Overall, it's been a good player.

Summary: Best mp3 cd player ever!
Review: I listen to music all the time, i make cd's and mp3 continously. I have this with me all the time and it has never let me down. In the car, airplane, and when i am just walking.
The screen is big and convient. U change all the settings and do watever u want.
IN the US it doesnt come with remote but in europe and asia it does. I did not get the remote and i do not need it.
I would definitally recomend it, it never skips and plays all mp3's. The sound is great and loud...

Summary: Beats the competition
Review: Listen, you get what you pay for is one of those laws of nature like gravity. Believe me. I first bought the Riovolt for about 45 bucks after rebate. So flimsy. I took it back and shelled out some serious jack, serious for me, to buy this D-CJ01. The difference clearly shows. Solid construction, skip-free and no strange buzzing sounds when I hook it up to my car system. Only gripe, can't get it to play CD-RW's. But that's okay. I love everything else about it including it's smart, transparent cover. Look, here's reality. Somethings you can buy cheap and they work fine. CD/MP3 players are not one of these things. Spend the extra dough. The price is the first thing you'll forget about a purchased item.
