Review: I bought this camera through amazon.com and I couldn't wait for using it, because I think that have a video cam with mini DV cassetes and also a 4.1 megapixel camera that uses many kinds of memory sticks is awesome!! my experience is that we have also sony cameras that of coarse use memory stick so we just changed it from my dad's sony to this and works perfectly, I can tell you this because the first time we used it (the samsung duo) was in our past holiday vacations at Disney World so imagine the importance to have a good video and great pics and we had really great results and also is more comfortable to carry it and you now safe space and time and the size of it is great too.

As I told you it has a multiple card slot so you don't have to worry about searching specific memory cards and also as in all digital cameras you have the LCD screen to see your pictures and videos right away and it is very easy to use, you can trust me because my dad is not exactly an electronics fan and he is very happy because even though it has both functions it works just the same as another video cam what I'm telling you is that you just turn the wheel and THERE YOU GO!! you can use now as the digital camera as the video camera.

So if you are looking for a familiar camera with great quality and you are one of those that loves no to lose a special moment this is it.

Review: I spent a lot of time researching the best video camera to buy and decided on the DuoCam. At first I was thinking of getting a Sony miniDV HandiCam, but after trying it out in the store I was afraid I would break it, it felt more like a Fisher Price toy than a serious (and expensive) piece of electronic equipment. I saw a review in Wired Magazine for the DuoCam and it peaked my interest, both a miniDV camera with a 4 mega pixel video camera in one package...hmmm. Well I tried one out in the store and although it is a little bigger than a HandiCam, it is much more solid and once you learn the controls is very convenient. One of the reasons I bought this was because we have a new baby, with this camera I can video tape him and when he does something particularly cute I just switch to the digital camera and take a shot, no switching or anything, pretty convenient when you have diaper in one hand and your camera in the other. I found the video quality to be the equivlent of the the HandiCam and the photo quality and features are excellent. Considering how much you would spend for both a decent miniDV camera and a good digital camera, this is a great deal. You also get a remote, USB cable and memory card. I am very happy with my purchase, way to go Samsung!
