The versatile PVL353 VHS-C Camcorder has features that you wouldn't expect VHS camcorders to have. The PVL353 comes equipped with a 20:1 optical zoom. This powerful feature acts like a telescope to produce extraordinary close-up shots, superior in clarity to those provided by digital zoom. You can also choose between four zoom speeds, so you can go from a wide angle to full telephoto zoom in 2 to 16 seconds. It also has a 700x digital zoom, which significantly increases the range of video capture when complemented with the optical zoom. The dual Digital Electronic Image Stabilization (D-EIS) compensates for unintentional hand and camcorder movement when recording. You can also use it in playback mode to help reduce jitter in previously recorded video. Playback can be done through a VCR or quick review can be accomplished using the 2.5 inch LCD screen. Other features included are; color digital fade, motion sensor, date and time, one-touch auto fade, and programmed recording.
