Summary: Great!
Review: Really, I cannot figure out why this product has got such bad reviews. I have had mine for about a week and, honestly, I am impressed. I have two other binoculars and several cameras (including Olympus), so I am not totally green or new in the field. Of course, you cannot hold the Olympus Tracker Zoom totally steady when putting the zoom on 30x, and surely you cannot follow a bird when using 30X. And of course, you loose some sharpness and vivid colours putting the Olympus Tracker Zoom on 25-30x (you always do!), but still it is pretty good quality. And on 10-20x it is really sharp and vivid! And at a price of $99 I will give it 5 stars - without hesitation.

Summary: Bad zoom binoculars
Review: When I decided to buy these they had a 3 star rating so I thought to myself, "How bad could they be?". My opinion? Worse than 3 stars.

I couldn't focus onto an image clearly at 10x zoom and at 30x it just gets worse. And even at 10x zoom, the field of view is very small so tracking an object can be difficult. If the sun isn't out and the day isn't clear, the image through the binoculars at full zoom is dim at best.

Olympus should have thought a little more before they released these. I'm going back to Canon optics.

Summary: light gathering marginal
Review: Why did they go to a 25mm lens? Requires strong light, in spite of the coated lenses. 30 mm is min acceptable.

Summary: Olympus 10-30X25 Tracker Zoom PC Binocular
Review: Wow, I can't believe the incredible performance of the Olympus Tracker Zoom. For the price it is incredible. I'm a birder and have a lot of binocular equipment and this easily is my favorite. Small, and an incredibly clear sharp image even at maximum zoom power. Thank you Olympus.
