Review: This is a great mid-range sound system. I was told at both the Sony store, and other places I looked both online and offline that this is one of the best speaker systems for under $1000. Make sure you have a receiver with at least 5 channels, and 100 watts per channel, or you won't take advantage of this system. When comparing, it's also important to note that this comes with a powered sub-woofer (which is better than non-powered), and 5 other small speakers. You'll probably also need to buy speaker stands and or wall mounts, but this only helps to create a more perfect surround effect.
