Sony 8'' 50-Watt Powered Subwoofer (SA-WM20)

Review: for less money and better sound i was able to get a subwoofer that shuts itself off after 11 mins of no music input. i read the instructions and dont see anything about auto shutoff... so
apparently this just runs 24/7 while im at work or leave for the weekend to my other house which HAS auto shutoff subwoofers..has sony ever heard of energystar?? otherwise it works well but for less money you can find one w/auto shutoff.
i use it in the bedroom and it provides adequate base..
