Summary: Great Sub when it is workin but ...
Review: Finally, the last speaker of my 5.1 setup! So I pop in the "Blade" DVD -- the added bass from this subwoofer sounded wonderful, and definitely brought a smile to my face. HOWEVER, about 30 minutes in the movie, it died! Kaput. So, off to the repair shop I go (JBL's warranty covered it completely), to discover that there was a bad diode. It was replaced, and once again I am smiling. It sounds great with bass heavy CD's as well, though the front firing speaker is a bit more directional than I would like. Overall (and after the repair), good speaker!

Summary: Love the rumble - but watch for trouble!

Summary: Great Sub when it is workin but ...
Review: For the money, this is a really good sub and easily worthy of 4-5 stars. I was completely satisfied with it for 14 months until it self-destructed and therefore must rate it so lowly. I suggest anyone interested in buying this sub read the comments posted in audioreview.com to see the problems this sub will give you. Many people have reported the same problem. The cost to fix is approx $150 and JBL is no help.

Summary: This stuff makes me shake, but my neighboors hate.
Review: I've owned the JBL PSW-D112 for about six months now. At first, the constant throbbing drove my wife crazy and gave me a headache! But after figuring out how to set the controls and giving it time for the driver to break in, we became very impressed with its ability to give movies and music such depth. It really adds a lot to movies. However, I didn't pay nearly this much for it new. But it does its job well!

Summary: It sure offers a lot of bass for small-medium sized rooms

Summary: Awesome if anything like the PSWD110
Review: Now I`ve recently purchased the smaller version of this speaker the PSWD110 and I`m so satisfied that I had to put my add my input.Power handling, great depth, with plenty of room to spare. It just takes all the juice I give it when listening to R&B,rap, light jazz, reggae,& I am equally pleased when watching the family`s favorite movies.Anyone fallen asleep is sure to wake up when the bomb drops, or when the gun scene starts. So I know the big brother of my D110 has to be satisfying to it`s customers.Enjoy just as I do & Happy Bass`in.

Summary: This stuff makes me shake, but my neighboors hate.
Review: Well, I did like purchase this sub because it really makes me feel involved by its sound. In dance music (i.e. Venga Boys) all bass is relly strong and in classical music it reproduces the deep sounds in a very sutil way. Unfurnetly I don't have a DVD yet to feel how it will works, but I'm sure it will not disappoint me. It is not expensive, and works very well. It is a good shopping. One thing I don't know why is some chemical smell which I feel from it.
