Summary: I almost got knocked off my couch
Review: I hooked up my subwoofer last night and watched the movie "Ronin" on DVD. There were a couple of scenes where cars get blown up. Not only did this subwoofer rattle and shake my apartment, but it also blasted a jetstream of air that almost knocked me off my couch. Very happy with the product so far.

Summary: Good value with moderate quality
Review: I hooked up this sub to a JVC FS5000 mini-system to fill in the low notes. It integrated easily and really improved the sound. The only problem has been that my JVC system has fairly low-power pre-amp outputs, and the auto-on feature of the KLH subwoofer doesn't kick in until moderate volumes. I now leave the subwoofer power on all the time and the system works great.

Summary: This baby really gets you dancing!
Review: I just wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying owning a new KLH PSW8-100 subwoofer we purchased through Amazon. We had no problem setting it up, we added it to our compact bookshelf stereo, and it now sits sideways on the bottom shelf. The difference it makes to our listening pleasure is remarkable. We have been dancing around the house for days now and see no foreseeable end in sight! Thank you for making so much pleasure so affordable.

Summary: It didnt work BUT Amazon.com pleased ME!
Review: I ordered my KLH subwoofer because the price was extremely RIGHT! With all the positive comments I knew I had made a great decision. But when I recieved my unit it wouldnt work. I called the Amazon 800 number and talked to a very NICE operator and she MADE me 100% satisfied. I know the product will be good when I get one that works but I am jsut here to tell you if you have any reservations about purchasing from Amazon.com PUT THEM away! They are shipping me another subwoofer SECOND DAY AIR. IMPRESSIVE! SO for all this it gets FIVE STARS!

Review: I purchased the KLH PSW8100-8 a month or so ago. I based my selection purely on price, KLH branding and the customer reviews on Amazon.com. I have not been disappointed in the least. The bass is excellent and really adds alot to my home theater setup. I made the mistake of purchasing a home theater system with a non-powered sub-woofer. This one really booms. I could tell the difference as soon as I set it up (With ease I might add). Don't be put off by the down firing feature. It is a positive as far as I am concerned.

Review: I purchased the KLH PSW8100-8 last month and was extremely pleased with the performance (considering it is only a $100 sub). Granted, it isn't as nice as a high end 200W 12" front firing sub but hey, it works and it was cheap :)Incidentally, after 2 weeks of use the amp developed an internal short, which would repeatedly blow out the fuse even when it was switched to the "OFF" position (strange eh?). Kudos to Amazon though; they provided not only shipping back to them (via postage-due shipping label) but also sent out a replacement before receiving my defective unit. Customer service *and* a great selection of products. Now if only it wasn't on backorder... :)

Summary: A must have
Review: I purchesed the KLH subwoofer for Christmas and I don't know how I ever did without it. When you hear the Bass that comes from the small size that fits anywhere you will be amazed. And the price is right for anyone. Don't be fooled by the price and size of the sub unit. Watching DVD movies like Godzilla make you think that the monster is right outside and tring to get in. This is a must have for anyone on a tight budget.

Review: I set it up in a few minutes and use it with a home theather/dvd system. It's loud enough for use in my townhome and I don't see why anyone would want to spend 4 times as much for what I consider the same effect. Great product.

Summary: Adds a lot to my listening experience
Review: I upgraded to a surround sound receiver (mainly because I needed it to switch between s-video inputs), and decided to add some cheap surround speakers including the KLH center channel and subwoofer. I've been very happy with the results. I'm not an audiophile, but for my fairly simple needs, it makes a big difference to have the subwoofer, and I've never heard any signs of distortion or anything like that. I like the feature where it auto-senses when to turn on, so I don't have to worry about turning on/off another component. It just works.
